Mar 18 2011Pedaling Plastered: The Bicycle Beer Holder

bicycle-beer-holder.jpg

This $22 bicycle beer holder comfortably keeps a 6-pack of beer bottles right below your nuts. No word what to do if you're more of a 18-pack a day kinda guy, but my guess is get a basket. Alternatively, buy six-packs of cans, which come with their own plastic bike-mounts. Or do what I do and beg a neighbor to drive you to the liquor store and get a keg. That way you only have to go like once a week! "Over 150 beers a week -- really GW?" Really what? Economical? Yes.

Hit the jump for one more shot of the yes, yes you can get a DUI on a bike (I ran straight into a wall in front of a cop in college).

Bike is the worst kind of drunk driving...

Needs more bottle opener on handle-bars. Would this thing get you a DUI AAANNNDD an open-container!? Two birds.

I actually know a guy who got a BUI. He was a little too proud of that....

*Ching* *Ching*

Chug Chug

yeah that looks like a beaner would ride that bike. wait mistake they would actually carry a 30 pack.

There's nothing wrong with thirty packs.

they make 30 packs? never seen.

You people are fairies these days. When I was wasting my youth we put our bottles right in the water bottle holder.

Hahah...I was all "That's gotta be made in Portland"

I go to the etsy site: "Made with love in my workshop in Portland, Oregon."

Sometimes, I love my town, and other times....I am glad I live just outside of it. Hahah.

This is why kids - a water bottle filled with either Vodka, Gin, or White Rum will do you good in the water bottle holder.

Or really anything in a water bottle/soda bottle. Rum and Coke? oh hello coke bottle!

easy as pie.

also works for Theme parks (best way to ride them Pirates with RUM) and sports games.

drink on.

yes i'd like a dui and a cracked skull, please sign me up!

Hipsters are going to be all over this soon...unless it becomes mainstream.

Yeah because the cardboard handles NEVER break on a 6pk.

this thing is stupid why is it made of leather? I could make that so easily

Or you could, you know, put it in the truck or your car.

A fine choice of Pilsner!

You're calling others pansies while saying you carried a SINGLE beer on your bike.

Meanwhile the device is for holding a 6 pack.

You're a fucking moron.

It is a good invention, but I would prefer if some material did surround the cardboard cover as well.

Looks like your knees would bang right into the beer while you are riding.

Void of suspension meaning the first beer you open is well shaken causing it to explode in your face when you open it blinding you making you ride into a tree. Or it spills out over the rest of the beers soaking the coardboard holder which breaks sending 5 bottles of beer into your cranks. Have a nice trip.

If your drinking why do you need to ride anywhere. Multi-tasking is for idiots.

If they really wanted to sell this thing, the promo pics would have shown a 6er of PBR instead of Pilsner Urquell.

Yeah, can't wait to see the alcoholics crying after the cardboard packaging breaks and all their precious beer is a wet spot in the gutter ? They'll leave it there so the rest of us can get flats riding over the broken glass ? Broadcast that you're plastered and want a bui with all the empties hanging from the top tube ?

I really don't want a drunk cyclist hitting my car and expecting sympathy when they are in the hospital with broken bones and vertebrae ? That's if they survive the encounter ? And I'm certain there will be a lot of sorry alcoholics after they've run over a pedestrian ?

Check your local laws on the DUI thing. It is legal here in Alaska (a vehicle is defined as having an engine) as well as South Dakota and some other states.
