This is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare themed movie trailer called 'Find Makarov' that proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that fans are making movies I'd be more likely to go see than the big production companies. Just watch it. Then realize if 20th Century Fox was responsible it would include some kind of shitty love story that'll make you want to throw the rest of your Skittles at the screen (and you LOVE Skittles!). But I'm here to tell you throwing candy isn't the answer, my friend. No, flushing paper towels down all the toilets until they overflow -- that's the answer. Also: to bad restaurant service and passing time at the DMV. Pretty much everything really. Girlfriend wants to go shopping at the mall? Sure, I'll flood some bathrooms.

It looks pretty good.
But at this level of skill, why waste time making a fan movie of an existing trademark game about warfare when you can make your own story, fanbase, grant for film-making and PROFIT using your own characters and scenarios?
We already know what's going to happen, so what's the point?
Shake it up.
the battles themselves don't change much -they fill up time -only plot and the objectives, just throw in a few complications or set backs (cultural misunderstandings between militant leaders and foreign teams -who made to work with them, people with their own agendas etc),
some comic relief (interfering untrained local rebels, etc -hey, there were reports of disciplinary and drug problems with ANA in afghanistan a while back -both amusing and harrowing to work with).
Some suspense (having to blend in with civilians to evade pursuers, obtain information from a warlord/whoever who lives surrounded by family and bodyguards or find safe house until evac -that could wrong)
There you go. You got a war movie that could be just as entertaining as a possible adaptation of this game (knowing how game movies go)
-it could be even better and you won't have to pay anyone for a licence to use the name. Do some research, get a good writer and make a name for yourself.
