Plus it takes pictures if you use a digital camera and import them from iTunes. And video chat if you use an actual computer.

This is just another perfect example of the short fallings of the iPad....
There's a reason why the tablet PC failed, and the iPad has only given the world a locked (hardware/software) rehash of a failed idea.
Won't stop the idiots though

If the iPad could print to a network printer, one would think Apple would have mentioned so....

Welcome to Geekogle, you must be new here. This is a reblog site, it's rare to get something on here that isn't already on dvice, engadget, technabob, etc. We come here for the social aspect and the GW (mostly) funny commentary.

It is a FACT that IPad was made only for 3 purposes: gaming, reading and being a showoff duch at Starbucks. If you are doing something that involves printing, user your laptop not an IPad...

I have to respectfully disagree with you. The Ipad serves no unique or even valuable purpose. The ipad has 2 markets. Morons who know how to use computers, but want to look trendy and cool, and Morons who do not know how to use computers at all and need something with icons/buttons in order to access their email.
The ipad is worthless as a gaming device and completely useless for reading. It is large, heavy and lacks eink technology that serious readers look for.
What makes this device completely worthless is the fact that an ipod, iphone, or macbook serves the same showoff douchebagery purpose, and anyone even considering purchasing an ipad owns at least 2 of the three devices mentioned(myself included).
