Nov 5 2009On This Day In History

flux-capacitor.jpg

In 1955, Doctor Emmet Lathrop Brown was standing on a toilet hanging a wall clock when he slipped and beat his head on the bathroom sink. Unconscious, Doc had a vision. And that vision was that of a flux capacitor -- the device that makes time travel possible. The rest, my friends, is history. Or should I say, future? Time travel joke!

How could you post THIS, but nothing about Guy Fawkes Day?

Obviously, you've forgotten the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot.

And look where we are now. Up yours, Doctor Brown. Next time publish a journal.

Isn't this also the day that "V for Vendeta" is based on? November 5th

Happy 54th birthday Flux Capacitor!

@1 Who cares about the past when you can go back to the future.

God, I feel dirty now.

V for Vendetta was a comic book origionally. The Movie was based around 5th nov. on two seperate years. At least, then's when most of the good stuff happened in it.

Iin honor of this day I'm going to drive all the way home from work at 88 mph!!! Wish me luck!

Good luck.

Don't forget to set the date!

@7 Don't forget your blindfold!

@ 7

Good luck. Don't forget to watch for the blue turtle shell....

You guys do realise Guy Fawlkes was real and the 5th november the comics is based on was a real event hundreds of years ago?

1.21 JIGGAWATTS!!!!!!

THE COMIC WASN'T BASED ON GUY FAWKES OMG FAG

Guy Fawkes day!!!
I like that people think that it's only based on the comic and not on anything real. That;s hilarious.

@11 Were you playing too last night?

Who cares about that masked fag, time travel is the only thing we should care about.

Incestuous Marty McFly FTW

P.S. EFG sucks

Ahem, I should correct my self. The comic was based around the character V, whose philosophy for a change in government is described, by himself, as being similar to that of Guy Fawkes'.

Also, no offencce meant to any gay people.

Wow, I can't spell. This is coming as quite a shack to me.

GREAT SCOTT!

ever played the back to the future drinking game? First two words of the movie:
'Doc?...'
'MARTY!!!'
'Great scott'
'Jiggawatts'
flux capacitor'
ect...

ever read any of the REALLY early Gdub stuff... it sucks ass in comparison. also super late first tards suck ass. just sayin

Forgot the 5th of november?

I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should EVER be forgot.

What are you lookin' at butthead?

@ 16

No, sorry. I dont have a Wii. 360 all the way baby! But I am a big fan of Mario Kart, just not enough to buy a Wii....

@25 Walmart is selling 360s for $199 with a $100 gift card this weekend.
I have it posted on my FB page (my name link)

1.21 GIGAWATTS! 1.21 Gigawatts! GREAT SCOTT!!!

....WHAT THE HELL IS A GIGAWATT?!?!

remember remember the fifth of november
the gunpowder treason and plot.
and i can think of no reason, why the gunpowder treason
should ever be forgot.

its also my birthday! me, the flux capacitor and guy fawkes are all going to have a night that we will regret tomorrow.

Im proud to say i was in a completely original musical adaptation of Back to the Future. Music was original, choreography was original, set was cardboard. and we turned people away every night......there exists dvd proof somewhere good times

This is very appropriate; I passed a parked DeLorean just a couple of hours ago, a plain one. And #27, a gigawatt is a billion watts, just like a gigabyte is a billion bytes. Or do you still use a TRS-80?

Remember remember.
THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER
