Jul 16 2009Luke, I Am Your Dessert: Star Wars Cakes

star-wars-cakes-1.jpg

This is a little gallery of three different Star Wars cakes. These first two were created by Geekologie Reader doyouloveanapple (I do, I swear), and the Han Solo in carbonite cake after the jump was baked by Geekologie Reader Caro. I swear, you readers have such talent! And speaking of cake-baking talent: I have a birthday coming up next month. Now, who wants to bake my cake? And, more importantly, who wants to jump out of it?

Hit the jump to see the rest.

Starwars Cakes [craftster]

Thanks to doyouloveanapple and Caro, who love fondant like I love dinosaurs. Except not sexually. Okay, bad analogy.

Who.... who would want to eat Carbonite? That seems stupid. I'll eat the cakes but the not the carbonite slab with someone in the middle. DO NOT WANTS TOS EATS.

I'll jump out of it. I need to do some "man-scaping" first.

shiny and edible. score.

@2, You're not funny. Your attempts at humor are sub-par. In fact, Old Don Knotts movies are hysterical in comparison.

Nicely done... nomnomnom

I'd eat his way out of that cake :P
And i'd jump out of GW cake too... except he'd have to fly me over there first... so it wouldn't be a surprise per se...

this reminds me, i dislike cake. it's all about tonton pie.

Just a few feet away from your screen, the first 2 cakes look like bottlecaps for two delicious sodas - domo cola & sunglass stormtrooper

Why do these posts always show up when I skip lunch?

FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly lke that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max went riding aound with a crack head, and someone threw a water balloon into the car and soaked her, which made Max laugh.

(Sub Par Joke)

@18 & 19....

That's no nut,

It's a space station

Han Solo: It's too big to be a space station.

Is that Han in carbonite? It sort of looks like the George Lucas in carbonite I've seen in the past.

cakes

Is not photoshop!! I made them... and trust me my baking skills are MUCH better than my computer skills. I have more photos from different angles if you don't belive me. I guess marshmallow fondant absorbs light in a weird way.

first

Soo, I guess I'm going to be the one to ask.......what kind of cake? Chocolate, vanilla, marzipan?........oh, I just realized. IT DOESN"T MATTER ITS STAR WARS! WEEEEEEE!!!!!

These cakes were clearly photoshopped.
