Oct 12 2007Pet Finder Locates Pets, Deafens Them

pet-finder.jpg

The Pet Finder from GadgetsUK consists of a remote control and a pet locating siren beacon you attach to your pet's collar. When they're asleep you jam on the button, letting loose an 85db beep that's sure to help your pet on its way to an early grave. The system costs $40, has a 60 ft range, and is basically a glorified electronic key finder. Now call me crazy, but if you can’t locate your dog or cat, I think you should reevaluate whether you have an actual pet, or a wild animal living in your home.

My dogs go crazy when the smoke alarm goes off and this is just animal cruelty, I can't see it being on the market for long. Much better to use one of those pet mobile phones.

*ring ring*
"Yeah hello Fido, where the f*** are you?"
"Woof"
"You're at the pub?"
"Woof woof"
"Well be back by 11 and don't bring any bitches home with you this time!"
"Woof"
"and wipe your feet on the mat."

If I ever came across someone putting one of these on a cat i'd probably have to kick them in the head a bit.

man this would make your cat hate you. and run away so far you'd never find him.

lol Marcelo lol i won't lose your cat either lol lol

i like !! nice toy for my cat! lol! cute!! http://www.mactanque.com/

This can be very helpful for the pet that is deaf, and they can't hear you call them. This is how I found this posting, looking for something I can put on a deaf cat. She can't hear me when I call her.

I got one of these for my cat, and it works perfectly. She is a pure white DEAF albino. She can't hear her name called, and this unit is the only way to find her. Even the vet verified that she is deaf.
