Mar 29 2007Fish bowl in a deep fryer

water-fryer.jpg

This brilliant (but obviously insane) Japanese chef created the Water Fryer, which is a fish bowl at the bottom of his deep fryer. Because the oil and water don't mix, as long as the fish stay low they're okay. Plus the crumbs from the deep fryer drop to the bottom which the fish eat as food. The fish allegedly live for up to 10 years as long they stay away from the oil. Or 2 seconds, if they come within reach of my mouth.

So, the guy actually uses the deep fryer?

Doesn't the heat.... bother, IE Kill the fish?

What about food being deep fried in fish poo? Isn't that taboo?

i'm callin bullshit

what people fail to realize is that the fish is just a fish. would u prefer a baby human? i know i would :D

that fish must be a happy fish. look at all the food!

i call bullshit too.

if the oil was hot enough to fry ANYTHING (roughly 350 degrees F) it would vaporize any water touching it (seeing as water boils at 212 degrees F).

so no, there cannot be any any actual frying involved.
wonder where the supposed crumbs are coming from

Hmm, even if the oil was never used for frying, the fish would die within days from lack of oxygen.

Yeah, no, this isnt possible.

there would have to be a air pipe, and posably some pond weed to add oxegen,+ there would have to be a large amount of water conpared with the conection to the oil to stop it heating up to much

BUT WHO CARES I WANT ONE OF THOUGHS AMAZINGLY AWSOME FISH TANK!!!!
