Oct 13 2009 Power Wheels Modded Into Halo Warthog

I was never allowed to have a Power Wheels growing up because my parents were too afraid I'd back over my own head, but that's neither here not there, it's just one of the reasons I have parent issues. Anyway, some lucky tyke's father went and modded his to look like a Warthog from Halo. Sweet!
Fortunately, thanks to the folks at Bungie, we're all that much more knowledgeable about the DIY Power Wheels modder set. All it took was one M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle--better known as the Warthog--fashioned from the guts of a Power Wheels miniature truck--a "very used 2001 G3740 Street Scene Silverado," according to its creator.
That creator, flux83, has done a capable job of turning that Silverado into a teeny-tiny Warthog that looks to seat a maximum of two wee Spartans.
OMG how different my life would've been if only I'd had a Warthog Power Wheels growing up! I probably would have been popular in school and maybe even had a girlfriend. And you know what having a girlfriend means! Nagging, LOTS of nagging. Oooooh, swift burn to the ladies!

Mar 3 2009 Master Chief/Warthog Transformer On eBay
We've already seen a Master Chief Transformer here on Geekologie, but quite frankly -- can I call you Frank? No? Well surely -- ooooh, I like that, can I call you Shirley? And, I dunno, maybe you could do your hair up in pigtails and wear one of those 50's poodle skirts? YOW YOW! Well, you think about it.
Up for auction is a custom built Transformer of Master Chief from the Halo series of games. A quick transformation turns him from the iconic Spartan soldier into a battle ready Warthog LRV . Stands 5 1/4" tall when transformed and comes with a variety of weapons including a Sniper Rifle, Spike Grenade, and Warthog turret. Built from a McFarlane Master Chief figure, an Actionclix Wartog and an Autobot Hound transformer, many hours of work have been put into this to make it a faithfull representation of both the vehicle and the character. I've had fun building this, and hope you enjoy it as well.
Hey, not bad. One time I tried to make my own Transformer out of different toys but I got frustrated and just ended up gluing one of my sister's Barbie heads on a G.I. Joe.
"Hawk, your new hair is so soft, I want to comb it."
"Hawk don't play that sissy shit, boy."
"Oh Hawk, you remember your buddy Snake Eyes -- remember what happened with the hair spray and the matches?"
"Make me pretty, boy!"

Dec 6 2008 Yes Please: An A-10 Warthog Motorcycle

The A-10 Thunderbolt II (aka Warthog) is a plane that never fails to make me swoon. I don't know if it's the styling or the 30mm Gatling gun in it's mouth, but my god does that plane do something to me. And now the guys over at ICON Motorsports have gone and made an A-10 inspired motorcycle. Complete with 800-watt sound system, 8-inch LCD screen and minigun, the bike is clearly ready for combat. And by combat I obviously mean me in my "If you can read this, my bitch fell off" t-shirt.
Hit the jump for a bunch of closeups and a little artsy film ICON made for the bike.
Sep 18 2007 Guys Can't Drive Halo Warthog
The guys from Weta Works built a replica of the Warthog from Halo, and now there's a video of some dudes from Bungie driving it. No word on what was used, but it looks pretty sweet. The only problem is none of them have a damn driver's license, as is evident when they slam into the side of the building. I was kind of hoping the guy in the back would fly out and get run over, but today's not my day. I do want it though, and I'm gonna pull up to my neighbor's house and threaten to rain hell if he doesn't cut the damn grass and keep his weeds from spreading. Crazy old bastard.

Jul 24 2007 Fully functional Warthog
From Bungie:
Um. The dudes at WETA made a Warthog. I don’t mean that they made a big plastic thing that looks like a Warthog. I mean they built a fully-functioning, four-wheel steering, powerful, off-road vehicle with a machine gun on the back. At the correct scale. If you live near Wellington, New Zealand, you might even see some crazy machine-shop dude from WETA fishtailing around your base, ahem, I mean neighborhood. What’s it for? Well, a couple of things – one of which will be one of the shorts coming from director Neill Blomkamp. We sort of blindsided you guys with the first short (Arms Race) – it had little to no context or explanation, but when you see it as it was originally intended – as part of an overall narrative, you might just pee your pants.
If getting an erection from a car is wrong then I don't want to be right.
