Mar 7 2009 Mmmm, Rorschach-y: Watchmen Desserts

Loyal Geekologist Martin has a friend (Jack) who made a cake honoring The Comedian in anticipation of Watchmen, which dropped in theaters yesterday. Also, they made some delicious Rorschach brownies, which I featured after the jump and have been staring at for the past twenty minutes. Tell me, what do you see? If you answered "NOM NOMs" or "a vampire fondling a mermaid in a whirlpool", you are correct. Anything else and you're a crazy person or in love with your mother.
Hit it for the rest of the deliciousness.
Jan 19 2009 Sure, Why Not?: Philips Making 21:9 TV

The 56" Philips Cinema Widescreen LCD is a 21:9 television hitting the streets of selected countries next month. If you want one you can pay an arm and a kidney and watch movies in the proper 21:9 aspect ratio without black barring it. If you don't want one, forget you ever read this and save that precious brain-space for something useful. Like a tv theme song! Which reminds me -- "thank you for being a friend..." Haha, marinate on that one all afternoon, suckers!

Thanks to Julian, who who thought about getting one until he realized he owned a movie theater. An adult movie theater. No, that's not creepy.
Jan 13 2009 Theater Can Be Fun: Real Life Super Mario
This is a piece of Japanese black theater in which people dressed in all black do a bunch of crazy shit that looks awesome. In this case, reenact some Super Mario action. I highly recommend checking it out. And for those of you that can't watch at videos at work, well, freaking quit already. You're under appreciated anyways.
Thanks to Arran, who did the exact same thing for the first level in Contra, but the theater burnt down before he could perform. I'm sure it would have been awesome, Arran.
