Nov 4 2009 Breast Scarf Ever (See What I Did There?!)

what-are-those.jpg

This is a boob scarf made out of gym socks and what may or may not be dried apricots. They cost $45 and are available from Etsy seller Lourdesoftheflies. I think you only get one pair for that price though. RIPOFF!

almost look real!

almost feel real!
almost are real!

great for winter!

If you can actually convince someone that these almost look and feel real, you could probably sell safety matches to the devil. That said, I bought two pairs just to be safe. Worse comes to worse I'll fill them with pennies and swing em around like nunchucks.

May 5 2009 Sap Cap Is Actually A Weapon In Disguise

braining cap.jpg

The Sap Cap is no ordinary headwear. Oh no, the baseball hat actually has a pocket of "unique impact material that is 110% the density of lead and will not rust" sewn into the back. Granted it's no Oddjob razor hat, but may do in a pinch (also: your clumsy ass would probably cut your own arm off with an Oddjob hat). Just remove the cap, hold by the brim, and proceed to brain your opponent. Now call me old fashioned, but I still prefer a sock full of quarters. Not only is it a lethal weapon, but you can also pay strangers' expired parking meters. But not too many! Lest you find yourself wielding an empty sock. Which, as I'm sure you all know, is only effective for beating yourself. BOOM SHACKA LACKA!

Jan 27 2009 It's A Sock, It's A Camera, It's A....Sockera?

sock-camera-1.jpg

This is a digital camera made out socks by Netta Amir. Unfortunately, it can only take really fuzzy(!) pictures and is kind of a pervert (foot fetish). Wanna make one yourself? Look under your computer desk -- balled up socks? Well wash them. Then stitch them together and, if you're anything like me, PRESTO -- you're bleeding. Ha, I wasn't supposed to put them on first. But they were so warm and fresh out of the dryer! Alright, let's try this again. Ah, there we go -- eight socks sewn together. Kind of looks like an octopus. Hmm, I guess there are actual skills involved. But not gloves -- save those for the video camera.

Hit the jump for a bunch of closeups, including a picture the camera took.

Oct 21 2008 PS3's Little Big Planet Delayed For Song

little-big-planet.jpg

If you haven't already heard, Little Big Planet, the much anticipated PS3 game about strangely erotic sock puppets, has been pushed back a week. Why? Because one of the songs in the game features two verses from the Qur'an.

The music in question is "Tapha Niang" a song performed by Malian musician Toumani Diabate, Sony said.

"One of the background music tracks that was licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an," the company said in a statement. "We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused."

Sony, maybe you should have done your research before stuffing offensive songs into your video games, you stupid idiots. Haha, no, I'm not just saying that because you didn't use the track I sent you. Although you should have, that shit was solid gold! At least brass. Brassy. Tin. Solid tin.
