Jul 28 2009 HOORAY!: HAPPY 4,000TH POST TO ME!
Dearest Reader,
That could be a cash register for all I know, the important thing is that I WOULD TOTALLY EAT THOSE GUMDROP KEYS. Also, this is my 4,000th post as your Geekologie Writer. FOUR-THOUSANDTH! I honestly can't think of a single other thing I've done that many times. Not one. I swear, it seems like only yesterday (it was actually back in February) I was tooting my own horn for 3,000 posts fairly well done.
I'd like to thank all you regulars (you know who you are) for constantly filling the comments sections with crap (although you should start more fights, I miss the fights). You've racked up 115,543 comments on the posts I've written, 100,000 of which are My Brute links. But seriously, thank you all for reading everyday (EVERYDAY -- not every-other day or a couple times a week, EVERYDAY). And for those of you new to Geekologie, it's a pleasure to meet you, say hi sometime. Thank you all (and Anticlown Media) for giving me the means to lay around the house all day and fill your interweb with awesome. Here's to the next thousand!

Apr 7 2008 AWESOME!: Geekologie Featured On BBC
I don't have a television anymore because my wife sold it for six boxes of Girl Scout Cookies and two pints of Ben and Jerry's. But if I did I may have caught Geekologie featured on BBC! Whoooooweeeee! So yeah, we're big time now. Really up there with the giants. Like Andre and, um, Jolly Green. The picture features a transcript of the show, or you can go here and click April 4th to watch it. But just skip to 21:00, that's when the good stuff starts. I can't wait to tell my parents, they're going to be so proud! Well, as proud as they can be of a son who writes lewd jokes for a blog all day.

Jan 25 2008 Geekologie: 2008 Tech Blog Of The Year
Well by divine miracle (and my l33t haxoring) Geekologie has been nominated for a Bloggie in the 2008 Best Computers or Technology category. I would like to thank you all for your support and urge you to take a trip over to the Bloggies website and cast a vote for Geekologie. As you can see we're up against some pretty stiff competition. Real stiff. Stiff as hell. The big dogs. But like that story in the bible where the one little dude eats six dozen eggs and a gallon of milk to beat the other bigger dude in the eating contest, you never know.
And if by some fluke Geekologie does win I hereby swear I'll pound an entire fifth of bourbon and convince my girlfriend to have a threesome. I'll even take pictures. Hell, I may even hire Sears Portrait Studio -- after all, this is the bigtime. Now get out there and vote so we can stick it to the man. And by 'the man' I mean my father. He still thinks I'm just some loser that lives in the basement and steals his beer.
