The Hamburger bed (which is actually a cheeseburger) is a round bed that looks like a hamburger and has a Facebook fan page. I was going to become a fan, but decided I'd probably end up stalking that delicious bitch and that would bad. So, instead, I'm going to make my own taco bed.

UPDATE: So I had this weird dream about being a giant last night and, f***, I think I ate my pillows.

May 14 2008 jDome Gives You 180° View While Gaming

The jDome is the brainchild of John Nilsson and allows a player 180° field of vision. "All you do is put the jDome in front of a projector, mirror the image in the projector, change the Field of View and you're good to go." Simple as that. Nilsson estimates the domes will go for $125-$200 as soon as he procures the necessary fundage to get them made. If you're really interested you can provide a donation at his website or make one yourself out of your little brother's bedsheet and sister's hula-hoops.

Apr 3 2008 Selfy The EasyBed Makes Itself, Is Dangerous

Selfy the Easybed shares its name with a hooker I used to frequent when I was with my first wife. But this one isn't a bucktoothed whore, it's a bed that makes itself. Displayed at the ongoing International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, it's the brainchild of Enrico (Suave) Berruti.

The bed sheets are connected to a couple of fasteners which roll along a set of metal rails attached to each side of the bed. Once the sheets are completely spread out, the metal rails automatically lower, creating a neat finish.

Since there's no video and I'm horrible at visualizing things I have no idea what that means or how the hell it works. However, I do have the distinct feeling that it has the ability to crush a still-sleeping lover. After all, what better way to get a one-night stand up and on her way, than, you know, having to call an ambulance.

Feb 6 2008 Itch-Free Sleeping Gown Makes Me Wonder

There are a number of reasons why one might not get a good night's sleep. At the top of my list are a wife that sleeps too close, two dogs that prevent me from stretching my legs out, and three cats that want to rub their a-holes on my face all hours of the night. Itchiness is a far distant worry. But for those of you that find it at the top of your list, there's Dermasilk. It's a material made into a ridiculous looking outfit that "regulates body temperature and allows skin to breath." Interesting. Yeah, and it's being developed by the Travelodge hotel chain. Whoa, not sleeping there anymore. You sleep in a Travelodge and you get the itchies. Probably from bedbugs and people's you-know-what. And you do know what I mean when I say ‘you-know-what’ don't you? Well think about it -- what do people do in hotel rooms? They eat and leave chip crumbs everywhere. So it's probably chip particulate in the bed that makes you itch.
