Dec 17 2008 I Am Stupid, These Are Better iPhone Gloves

Okay, so apparently that last pair of gloves I posted for using touchscreen devices suck because your fingers get all cold. Boy was that a stupid product design. But apparently these DOTS gloves will still work AND keep your digits nice and toasty. They work via those magical little dots on the tips of the fingers. A knit pair will set you back $15, wool $20. Despite contacting the company, I received no word on what the dots are actually made of, which begs the question -- angel nipples?
Thanks to egleaves and David for pointing out that the other gloves are for nose-pickers, not iPhoners.
Nov 10 2008 Not Just A Pretty (Reflected) Face: An Interactive, Touch-Sensitive Mirror
It's a mirror. It's interactive. It's an interactive mirror. You can touch it to paint pictures and manipulate text. "Conceptualized by Alpay Kasal of Lit Studios and Sam Ewen of Interference Inc. This is a patent pending touch capable mirror." Now I'm not sure about the practical applications of such a reflectionary device, but hey, who said anything about practicality? If I wanna do my hair and browse recipes at the same time, that's my God-given right. Kidding ladies, that one's yours.
JOKING!

Thanks to Brooke, who probably wishes she hadn't sent this and now thinks I'm a racist.
Jun 2 2008 Giant Keyboard Is Missing Vital Keys

From the "Just Because You Can Probably Means You Shouldn't" Department comes this massive keyboard. It's just short of ten million feet long and doesn't have a QWERTY layout. Nope, the letters are in alphabetical order, and there aren't any keys besides the letters. So yeah, no ENTER, space, or anything else. It's still awesome though. Couple this sucker with a couch-sized mouse and you could win awards in practicality.
A couple more build pics after the jump.
Jan 10 2008 World's Cheapest Car Unveiled, Costs $2,500

It's official folks, here comes the world's cheapest car - The Tata Nano. The car was unveiled today at India's largest automotive show and has received much attention. The car is powered by a 2-cylinder, 33 horsepower motor, and has a top speed right around 60 MPH. It has four doors, seats five, has seatbelts but no radio, air conditioning, or airbags, and is basically a deathtrap. However, in a country where "two-wheeled scooters...are often crammed with entire families", it's definitely a step up in the safety department. And for $2,500 it's hard to beat. However I would recommend they change the name if they plan on selling it over here, because where I'm from Tata Nano is slang for a really, really small breast. Like my wife's right one. Oh no I didn't. Did I? Did I really go there? I think I did. Good burn Geekologie writer! Oh, good backing over the Geekologie writer's nuts with your car, Geekologie writer's wife. Touché.
A couple more pictures and a video of the car after the jump.
