This is a Piranha Plant scarf made by craftster user enemyairship. Careful wearing one though, it might nip at your genitals!
Here's another Mario related project of mine...actually I just noticed that the only projects I've posted here are Mario inspired! I saw a project similar to this one on Ravelry and just had to have a go at it.
This is a Piranha Plant scarf that I made for my bf's younger sister. She's either a Junior or Senior in high school.
If you want to try knitting your own she has the pattern explained in the thread(!). I thought it was taking a stab at, but I'm no good with needles. I ended up mainlining a whole ball of yarn!

Aug 25 2009 You're Doing It Wrong!: Bacon Oakleys
Bacon, as you may well know, is supposed to go in your mouth or be worn like a coat. It is NOT supposed to be worn like a pair of sunglasses. That is ridiculous. But DQM and Oakley went ahead and teamed up to make a limited run of 50 pairs of bacon goggles anyways, which went on sale today for an undisclosed amount of fatback. Did I buy a pair? No. Did I lick a pair? Maybe.

Nov 19 2008 Yes!: Star Wars Arts And Crafts For Sale
Star Wars arts and crafts: I just can't get enough of that shit. It's like juice, but not liquid and nowhere near as sugary. Actually, I'm trying to limit my juice intake because I've been drinking too much lately and it's making me run up the walls. Well, not literally. Yes literally! I fell and hurt myself pretty badly. Broke the coffee table. And a cat. Anyway, today on Etsy we have some $5 patterns to make your own crochet Darth Vader and lightsabers, a $12 finger puppet Yoda, and a $950 sequin Darth Maul "painting". Hit up the jump to see them all. And then hit up your parents up for some beer money. Then we can go drink by the train tracks!

Apr 11 2008 IKEA Turns Japanese Monorail Into Showroom
IKEA, best known for their sweet coffee table that I bought, has turned the Kobe Portliner Monorail of Port Island, Japan into a traveling showroom. As you can see it looks like someone threw up all over the place. It will remain that way until May 6th, so if you're in the area go check it out. While the bright colors and nutty patterns make me a little queasy, I still think it's a great idea. They should totally pimp out the D.C. Metro like this. That way when the guy sitting behind me pulls his thingy out and starts beating it against the back of my seat I can at least pretend I'm in a furniture store.

Mar 7 2008 Trap Lightning In A Block And Make People Think You're Magical, Possibly Score A Girl
Lichtenberg figures look like trapped lightning and are actually "branching electric discharges that sometimes appear on the surface or the interior of insulating materials." Popular Science has a DIY page if you're interested in creating your own, or you can just buy them here and say you did it yourself. I'm just going to buy one, because me and electricity don't mix. And while it's debatable, you may be able to use one to convince the ladies you're a sorcerer or magician. Which, I've heard, works better than telling women you're a vampire/werewolf hybrid in order to get them in the sack. If they don't fall for it though just nonchalantly jam a butter knife into an electric socket. Sure it may kill you, but honestly you weren't going to get laid anyways.
