Oct 16 2009 Highly Questionable Japanese Sniper Prank
Is there anything funnier than tricking a Japanese man into a meeting and then faking the death of everybody else in the room by sniper fire? No. Unlessssss the alleged gunman then bursts in and puts his weapon to the man's head and pulls the trigger. Seriously, you're sick, Japan (keep the freaky Hentai coming).
Thanks to Closet Nerd and Harry, whose parents don't allow them to watch Japanese TV for fear of them becoming morally corrupt.
May 8 2008 Mouse Coat Created, Raises Ethical Questions

The Museum of Modern Art in New York recently had this installation, "Victimless Leather", on display. It's a coat made out of mouse embryonic stem cells. However, after just a month the coat was too large to continue growing in its flask and had to be killed. Now the creator of the exhibit doesn't know know how to feel about it.
I've always been pro-choice and all of a sudden I'm here not sleeping at night about killing a coat...That thing was never alive before it was grown.
This is almost certainly going to open a whole new can of whoop-ass worms on the ethics and moral dilemmas associated with experiments and art of this nature. Perhaps the most important of which is, "It's totally straight to shrink ray your kids so they fit in little mouse coats, right?"
Jan 16 2008 I'm No Perv, I Swear!: Portable Subway Straps

Well I'm sure you all know about the subway groping problem that Japan has. If not, Japan has a problem with men playing grab-ass (with women) on the subway. Well now there's a solution for Japanese men aiming to keep a clean reputation -- portable subway straps (525 yen, ~$5). What you do is, uh, hold the thing -- that way women won't accuse you of touching them because you're holding on to a giant plastic door knocker. I recommend getting two just to be safe. Because while the guy on the far right of the picture is clearly not doing any groping with his right hand, I'm pretty sure his left is knuckle deep in ass. But to his credit, it's probably his own.

Nov 8 2007 Man Builds LEGO Air Conditioner

Nathan Sawaya, a man who makes a living building LEGO stuff made a life-size replica of a Carrier brand air conditioner for their convention last year. Then, not to be out done, Bryant Air Conditioning commissioned him to do the same thing for their convention. And he agreed! What a schmuck. How about some air conditioner company loyalty, Nathan? This guy probably has two LEGO brick girlfriends at home and doesn't even have the common courtesy to put one in the closet so she can't see when he's banging the other.
One more of the inside after the jump. Note: The fan actually turns. Whee.
