May 20 2009 OM NOM NOM NOM: Beef Jerky Underwear

Beef jerky underwear is $139 underwear made out of untreated beef jerky. It is nutritious, delicious and sexy as all get-out. It kicks the shit out of those other edible underwears because those things taste awful even though they look like they should taste like Fruit Roll-Ups. Plus these ones are meatier. RAWR!
Note the time and care that has gone into crafting this wonderful undergarment. The attention to the properly placed groments that enhance the wearers comfort! We've even "bedazzled" this pair and added our Mixed Species logo on the back next to a heart of rhinestones.
We consider these to be the first in "meat haute couture". They are made to order for each specific customer from the highest quality of dried preserved meats we can find at the closest convenience store.
First of all, it should be "haute meat couture". And secondly, why the hell aren't they available in teriyaki? The Geekologie Writer demands teriyaki flavored draws for his women! Also, blindfolds. I have an internet face. :(

Oct 22 2008 Man Builds Lamborghini Countach In Basement, Has To Dig It Out When Complete

Ten years ago Ken Imhoff started building a Lamborghini Countach in his basement.
A little history on the car. 100% hand crafted Countach out of aluminum and a space tube frame. All aluminum body formed on a wooden buck using an English wheel. My own design space frame with Corvette hubs and custom A-arms. Mated to a ZF-25 5 speed. S.S. 180 degree headers GT40 design "bundle of snakes" Boss 351 bored stroked to 377 515hp 48 IDA Webbers. One off TransAm BBS rim shells to my own center section wheels. Custom brake package to fit 16" wheels. Fuel cell, twin aluminum sprint car (Howe) radiators. All aluminum interior with leather dash, Momo seats and 5 point harness, on board halon fire bottle. quick release steering wheel. Low to the ground at 2700 lbs. 100% body correct by using a real Countach to measure from. Over 10 years in the making.
And now, it's complete. The only problem is, Ken's basement has no outside access. So what do he do? Simple -- made some. He actually hired a contractor to dig down to basement level, destroy a basement wall, and pull the car out. Awesome! I guess I should have thought about that before I started building my rocketship.
UPDATE: F*** it, I'm blasting that mother straight through the roof.
Hit it for a bunch of build pics, and a couple showing how they got the car out.

They've got everything from XBox controller earrings to NES cartridge cufflinks to everything else you could imagine. I just put the Zelda cuffLinks (!) up because they're my favorite. Hit the jump for a couple more of my favorites, including a non-gaming related Tom Servo and Crow.

May 2 2008 Steampunky Watch Also Looks Coat Hangery

I don't have much information about this steampunky watch, so we'll just make it up as we go along. Let's see, it looks like the designer has a real penchant for coat hangers. Oh, and it looks uncomfortable to wear. That said, I'm sure it's a real attention getter. But mostly "oh my God, I think that poor guy broke his wrist and made his own brace out of coat hangers" attention. But hey, all attention is good attention in my book. And that's why I always scribble my number on the urinal dividers at truck stops.
One more picture of the timepiece after the jump.

May 1 2008 Custom Ninja Gaiden Handpainted Shoes

I know what you're thinking my fellow geekologists, you're thinking "damn, it's about time we see some more handpainted shoes so we can rip into them like a horde of zombies munching the last brain on earth." Well the wait is over my esteemed colleagues. These custom Ninja Gaiden slip-ons feature Ryu Hayabusa in all his stealthy glory. They were painted by some chick for her boyfriend, Roger. Hats off to you, Roger, you done scored yourself a good one. She even used slip-on shoes, so she probably knows how much men hate laces because they always come untied and get dragged through urine puddles in public restrooms. Good girl. Not only does my girlfriend not paint me shit, but she hides my shoes when she's mad at me. She's sick. Literally -- we think it's dysentery. Damn you, Oregon Trail.

Apr 25 2008 My Little Master Chief Is Just Damn Wrong

Remember the female version of Master Chief? She was hot wasn't she? Well how about this sexy little number, it doing anything for you? If so, please don't write about it in the comments section (oh what the hell, it's Friday -- go for it, sicko). Well AnimeAmy recently won second place in a custom My Little Pony contest with this Master Chief inspired creation. As you can see, it's the master in My Little Pony form. He was molded entirely out of Apoxie clay and went for over $150 on eBay recently. God, this takes me back. I used to have a My Little Pony when I was a kid (Cotton Candy, the fourth one down). Did I just type that? Well it was a lie. My Little Ponies were for chicks, and I was all man in kindergarten. As a matter of fact, I used to stand on top of the jungle gym and let the other kids to throw rocks at my nuts. That's how tough I was. Just kidding, I did crap my pants in the sandbox once. Yep, I had to run all the way back to the school building holding the load up with my hand so it wouldn't fall out.

Mar 25 2008 Mega Man 2 Scarf Sadly Doesn't Come With That Sultry Model Or The Awesome Hat

This is a Mega Man 2 themed scarf that has all the robot bosses on it. As you can see there's, um, Fan Man. And Frog Dude. Was that sacrilegious? Fine, Air Man and Bubble man. It's for sale if you want it, but it costs $150. It is, however, one of a kind. It is not, however, not bright yellow. Damn I'm in love with that girl in the picture. It's like she's looking into my soul and likes what she sees. Which is probably the potato salad and Fruit Rollup I had for breakfast.
One more of the detail after the jump.
