Some poor bastard, fed up with his car being broken into, decided to leave this passive aggressive note for the thieves. And not only does he reference Half-Life, THE DUDE KEEPS AN OCARINA IN HIS CAR. ZOMG, do you think he's Link?! Yeah, me neither.

This is a seven minute video of a guy screwing around in Half Life 2 after he replaces all the audio for the sound effects with his own voice versions. It's pretty awesome and I highly recommend checking it out, even if you just skip around for a few seconds. Which, haha, God you looked fruity.

This is part one in a series of shorts entitled Escape From City 17. They're all based on Half Life. You know, the game.
Originally envisioned as a project to test out numerous post production techniques, as well as a spec commercial, it ballooned into a multi-part series. Filmed guerilla style with no money, no time, no crew, no script, the first two episodes were made from beginning to end on a budget of $500.
Not freaking bad! And guys: if you're looking for someone to play the handsomely rugged hero in any future episodes, I'm your man. Seriously, I'm great at casting. Gentlemen -- to the couch!

May 19 2008 Now That's Crabby: Half Life 2 Head-Crab Hat
This may be as old as the hills, I honestly have no idea. But if it is there's nobody to blame but yourself, for not sending me the tip earlier. So yeah, marinate on that little knowledge nugget for a minute. Anyway, a loyal reader did send the tip, and here they are -- Half Life 2 Head-Crab (aka head-humper) Hats. Made out of 100% head-crab, the $30 hats are guaranteed to turn you into a lifeless zombie (see picture, above). I just ordered one and whenever I wear it I'm going to drool a lot and pretend I'm a zombie. That's going to be funny isn't it? No, it's not. Say, did I ever tell you about the crabs I got from a toothless hooker in Baltimore? $80 for a whole bushel of jumbo Maryland blues. Freaking great deal.

Jan 21 2008 Weighted Companion Case Mod Looks Good
Someone went and made a Companion Cube computer case from Portal. It looks good and is small (20cm). It's used as a web browsing and music computer, so there isn't anything too fancy on the inside. Unlike the doughnuts I had for breakfast, which were chock full of fanciness. And by fanciness I mean Bavarian cream.
