Apr 7 2009 Now That's Fine Art: Mario Strikes Back

This is painting by Los Angeles artist Misha entitled Empire. There are two others after the jump, both of which feature some relatively not-at-all-hot slave-girl Peach action (okay, the second one did a little something). They're all available for sale if you're interested, to the tune of $1,400. Which, haha, is a little out of my range. You see, I only sing bass. And speaking of which -- all yours are belong to me!
Hit it for the others.

Mar 12 2008 Framing Your Home Entertainment Center Is Wrong, Fugly, Should Be Against The Law

So yeah, rich people are framing their home entertainment centers. Because, well, I don't know why. I guess they have bad taste or something. I find it ironic that in the picture the entertainment center and DVD rack are framed and the actual piece of art there isn't. I don't get it. What I do get is free drinks at the bar. Yeah, I just wait for the bartender to turn around and then I reach across the bar and pour myself one. Yesterday he noticed I had more beer than he remembered and asked where I got it from. You know what I said? I said it fell off the back of a truck. And you know what he said back? Nothing -- he just punched me in the teeth.
Jan 9 2008 Woven Carbon Fiber Bike Frame Is Light

The Delta 7 Sports Arantix Mountain Bike features an IsoTruss carbon fiber frame. What the hell is that you ask? Well it's a frame made of hand-woven carbon fiber strands that are then wrapped in Kevlar and baked. Each one has over 1,672 feet of carbon fiber and takes over 300 hours to build. The resulting pyramidal structure of the frame makes it not only rugged but light -- a measly 2.75 pounds. Which is pretty light. You can get the whole bike for around $12,000 or just the frame for $7,000, but act quick if you want one, because they're only making 200 of them in 2008 due to the time intensive production. I'd totally get one but someone would steal it. My last bike got stolen off the carport and it was a $5 bike from the thriftstore. So I went and got another $10 one and have it sitting out there for the taking. Except this one has a frame packed with dynamite and a remote activator.

Dec 27 2007 Picture And Frame Turn Into Table, Wow!

Designer Verena Lang must live in a broom closet like I do, because she's the one responsible for the space-saving PictureTable. It's a picture frame that hangs on the wall but folds out to become a table when you need a place to eat dinner. Unfortunately there are no chair fold-outs, so you may have to stand. Now not to toot my own trumpet or anything (toot-toodle-toot!), but I made one of these in college. It was a beerpong table that folded down from the wall, just like her design. Of course it didn't feature a nice piece of art or anything. No, it was mostly penis and vagina doodles done in crayon and magic marker. Although now that I think of it, that thing was a freaking masterpiece. I'm calling the Louvre.
