First of all, thank you all for the kind birthday wishes. I just went through and read them all and that was some seriously sweet shit you all said (I'm so eloquent). I almost cried, but then I wrestled a bear (and won) so that I wouldn't. But seriously -- thanks, I had the best birthday I can remember in a long time. BUT NOW IT'S THE 13TH! And you all know what that means, don't you? International Left Hander's Day! Two days in a row, baby!
The Color Picker pen by Jinsu Park is a drawing device that allows you to write in any color you can scan with the pen's color sensor. You just hold the Color Picker up to something, push a button, and PRESTO! it mixes the right amounts of blue, green purple and yellow to make the brown you were looking for. Unfortunately, the Color Picker is currently only conceptual, UNLIKE MY CEREAL PICKER! It's a spoon that, when you think about a certain kind of cereal, fills itself with that kind! I use it to invent new delicious breakfast morsels. *concentrating* Okay, so this one tastes like shit -- you've gotta try it!

The Please Touch Pillow wants you to touch in -- in a bad way. So it can change colors! They cost $160 and are made by witches. The more you wash them the less color changing they get, until, eventually, they're just regular pillows you paid $160 for. Now there was something else I was going to say, what was it? Sep 12 2008 Pac-Man The Movie: Pac-Man In Real Life
This is a short film called Pac-Man: The Movie. It's told from the ghosts perspective, by four people running around in colored trash bags. I thought it was pretty cute. Not baby bunny cute, mind you, but definitely cuter than unidentifiable roadkill.
Thanks to Nicole, who once punched a ghost so hard it came back to life. But then she killed it again with her superpower -- sexiness. True story.
Aug 7 2008 Luxeed Colorful Keyboards Now Available
We heard about the Luxeed Dyamic Keyboard a year ago, and now the rainbow peripherals are finally available, for $200. You can choose between a black model on which only the letters are illuminated, or a white one that has the entire keys light up. Every board has 430 LEDs and you can program each individual key's color and make lighting animations. Sure, you could use the thing for Photoshop shortcuts or colored gaming keys, but let's be honest -- this board is strictly for showing off. I mean, who doesn't want to be the first in the office with a rainbow keyboard? Unfortunately, it looks like The Superficial Writer beat me to it. Hey buddy, see you got the Luxeed, very cool. And....pink. Ha -- now that you mention it, it does match your skirt. And....dude are you wearing makeup?

Jun 11 2008 HP's New Monitor Rocks Out With Its Color Out, Can Produce Over A Billion Of Them
The HP DreamColor LP2480xz is a 24-inch LED backlit monitor that can display over a billion colors (~64x what a typical LCD monitor can do). Unfortunately they cost $3,499. But if you're an artist or someone who really values accurate color display, maybe it's the monitor for you. And speaking of art, I bet this thing can display the hell out of some porno. Am I right? Hells yeah. *high fives* This old CRT can't replicate a natural nipple hue to save it's tube. Nipples aside though, vagina. Bet it looks good on that thing.

Apr 7 2008 3-D LED Cubes Are Out Of This World, Not Literally Though, They're Not Alien Or Anything
This 3-D LED cube was made by Chinese manufacturer Seekway and features a 16 x 16 x 16 grid of lights for a total of 4,096. That's a good amount. "The system is capable of displaying animations at up to 30 frames per second and each dot can be individually addressed for both color and intensity." There's a video of the cube in action after the jump, and I suggest you watch it and just vibe out for a little bit. You deserve it. If the boss comes by and asks why you're watching Youtube videos on the clock you just look him/her dead in the eye and tell them it's not Youtube, it's some computer virus you got when you were downloading porno. Works every time.

Jan 3 2008 Heat Sensitive Toilet Seat Provides Clues
When I first saw this picture, before I read the article, I assumed it was a heated toilet seat that changed color to let you know if you were about to sit on a cold seat. Well, it's actually the opposite. The Thermochromatic Toilet Seat was designed to warn you whether another individual has used the unit recently. Apparently because it's disturbing to sit on a seat still warm from another's rear. I personally seek out the hot seat, but that's just me. What I typically do is stand on the tank of a toilet in an adjacent stall, peering over the wall waiting for the person to stand up. As soon as they do I leap over the divider and seat myself before they've even got their pants up. I'm telling you, I like them hot.
