Belle Starenchak, better known as Pikachu Girl, or "PikaBelleChu", is now engaged DESPITE MY MUCH EARLIER PROPOSAL. I asked first, jerkbag. I was gonna catch all that!
When Chris Herbert decided to pop the question to his girlfriend of three years, Belle Starenchak, he picked the most romantic place he could think of: Anime Weekend Atlanta, with both dressed as Pokemon. It ... kind of makes sense for them.
Belle, or "PikaBelleChu," is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records: Gamer Edition for her massive Pikachu memorabilia collection, and Herbert met her by staging a Pokemon auction. So while we might be tempted to laugh, it would seem that the pursuit of 'em all is a major component of this couple's lives.
Wow, this story is so full of wow I don't even know where to begin. So I'll just start by saying who the hell stages an auction to meet a woman? That's pretty low. But, admittedly, genius. Which is exactly why you should set up an auction for locks of Edward Cullen's hair in your garage. Don't worry, you can thank me later.

That's a long picture, isn't it? Almost as long as an elephant's trunk, but not quite. You know, I heard if you took this picture, copied 5,000 of them, and then laid them end to end it would circle Uranus. Haha, how do you fit that thing on the john? I kid. But not really.
Anyway, if you want a complete Star Wars figure set (loose) from the original three movies (+ Power of the Force), now you can. Brian's Toys is selling two different sets, one with an AFA grading of 80 ($4,000) and one with 85 ($5,000). You can also get the sets minus Power of the Force for $2,700 and $3,500, respectively. Or, if you offer me enough I'll sell you the set I foolishly gave to my little cousin. "I said I want the toys back! Listen kid, just gimme the figures and I won't tell you you were adopted". *child crying, Geekologie Writer collecting toys* Worked like a charm! Also, I think I screwed him up pretty bad. Many people who pass by the Mandarake Complex stop for a few minutes, especially with friends or loved ones to reminisce about games they used to own or how they'd love to buy the whole collection.
Now you can! So do it. Then make wallets out of all the crappy games and send me one. Also, I think my mom still has my childhood rattail in an envelope somewhere if you're interested in that. I'll even throw in all my baby teeth if the price is right.

As many of you probably don't know because I'm just now making it up, I love Pokemon. Pikachu, that lovable little electric turd, really does something to me. Something deep down in my heart, near the cockles. And I just found out I'm not the only one! That's right, this crazy chick is even more Pokemontastic than yours truly. And that's saying a lot (reference legally changing name and having sex with a stuffed animal). Just check out all that crap! That's a lot of crap! Aug 12 2008 Buy It For Me!: Every NES Game Released
There's an eBay auction going on right now for an NES and every game ever released in a gray cartridge (no golden Zeldas), along with two that never were (California Raisins and Final Fantasy 2)!
This is it! Every NES cartridge ever made in a gray cartridge. About half the games have the instruction manual. This auction also includes a complete NES System with mint everything, including the posters and warrantee. A boxed Four Score with 2 extra controllers is also included, plus everything else you see on these pics. This feat took me years and thousands to complete. This is my most prized collection which I do not want to give up, but I have some serious family issues where money is needed now.
The auction has a Buy It Now price of $3,800, and, seeing how I am turning 14 today, I thought all you loyal Geekologie readers might want to band together and help me buy it. Seriously, if every one of you just donates a dollar, then I'll only have to cover $3,500 myself.

This may look like the character selection screen from the LEGO Star Wars game, but it's not. It's a man's visual database of all his Star Wars figurines. As you can see he has several. Over 600, including doubles. I like his little database, you can view it anyway you want: by the movie or series the toy came from, year, etc. Nice. Say, you don't happen to offer this service for others do you? I've got a little collection that could use some organizing. Hell, I'm not ashamed -- I'll just come out and say it. Power Rangers. Are you happy now? The cat's out of the bag. The eagle has landed. My penis is waving goodbye. Watching his hope of ever meeting a vagina quickly fade into the distance.

A dude is selling his massive music collection on eBay. How massive is massive? Try 3 million records and 300,000 CDs. That, my friends, is what is known as a shit-ton of music.
From Thomas Edison to American Idol, this is the complete history of the music that shaped and defined five generations. 3 million records and 300,000 CDs containing more than 6 million song titles. It's the undisputed largest collection of recorded music in the world. About half of the recordings are new and never played, and every genre of 20th century music is represented. There are countless rare recordings worth hundreds, or even thousands of dollars each on the collectibles market.
