Oct 15 2009 But I Wanted Braaains!: A Skull Cake Gallery

Because there's no better way to celebrate something than with a bitchin' skull cake, this is a little gallery of bitchin' skull cakes. I've decided I want a giant one for my next birthday. Except I want it to be on fire. And I want the Rockettes to leap out of that shit and kick-line me right in the face. Every last one of them, right in the face. And you know what I'll do? Spit out my teeth and smile. Hardcore, HARDCORE!
Hit the jump for the rest.

Aug 6 2009 Gotta Eat 'Em All!: More Geeky Cupcakes

If there's one thing I learned in baking school it's how to put out a fire (stop, drop and roll). And there's another, it's how much I enjoyed eating the things other people made. Mine? Mine never turned out because baking is a women's sport. High five, ladies! Wait -- is that batter? Let me lick your fingers. Anywho, this is a little gallery of geeky cupcakes. It's just a grab-bag really, so there's something here for everyone -- including you folks in prison (I slipped a file into the third robot). And for the last time, DON'T SWALLOW IT.
Hit the jump for nine more, including some Dangermouse action. DANGERMOUSE, SON!

Jul 13 2009 Come On, 20!: Small Gallery Of Geeky Cakes

This Dungeons & Dragons themed cake and all the others after the jump (including some Zelda, Wolverine, Mario and Transformer action) were created by DeviantART user cakerific. And cakerific they are! I would even go as far as caketastic. And, as the sign on the door said, "Absolutely no outside food or drink permitted in the bar". OH YEAH, THEN HOW'D I JUST MIX A COCKTAIL IN THE BATHROOM? Sense: I make it.
Hit the jump for five more, all of which would look real good in my stomach right now mingling with the sushi. Well hello Mr. Eel Roll, how are you? Spicy.

Apr 3 2009 Geekologie Writer Quoted On CakeWrecks

Well, this is the part of the day when I toot my own horn because nobody else will touch it, no matter how much money or free ShamWow I offer. So, the cakewrecks blog (a personal favorite of mine) quoted me in a post about nose cakes yesterday. I'm "that guy from Geekologie". WOOT! I've made it -- I've finally made it! *wipes tear* You see that, dad? And you always said I'd never amount to anything! What? I told you, your rent money is coming! Fix my sink already, God. Also, could you float me a $20 -- I wanna go to the mall.
Thanks to Whitney and Melodious Monk for pointing out the PEW.
Mar 7 2009 Mmmm, Rorschach-y: Watchmen Desserts

Loyal Geekologist Martin has a friend (Jack) who made a cake honoring The Comedian in anticipation of Watchmen, which dropped in theaters yesterday. Also, they made some delicious Rorschach brownies, which I featured after the jump and have been staring at for the past twenty minutes. Tell me, what do you see? If you answered "NOM NOMs" or "a vampire fondling a mermaid in a whirlpool", you are correct. Anything else and you're a crazy person or in love with your mother.
Hit it for the rest of the deliciousness.
Jan 6 2009 Mmmm, Geeky Deliciousness: A Cake Gallery

As you may know, we love themed cakes here at Geekologie. Love them, love them. A lot. I mean we REALLY love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love them. I guess what I'm getting at is this: I got a little too drunk and had relations with the cake at my son's 6th birthday party. My God, you should have seen the looks of horror on all those little faces.
Hit the jump for a ton more awesomeness, including some wicked Star Wars action, a badass Super Mario Galaxy cake, and an Apple pie.

Nov 25 2008 WoW NOM NOMS: Delicious Warcraft Cakes

This is a gallery of World of Warcraft cakes. There are eleven of them in all, ranging from the amazing to the somebody is trying to sneak a knife into jail. I particularly liked the last one, and not just because it looks like it was made out of human flesh. Although it does, and that shit's delicious. Mmmm, human rinds.
Hit the jump for the worthwhile gallery of NOM.
Oct 8 2008 Mmmm, Delicious Mother Board Cakage

It's been a while since we've seen some scrumptious cakeologie here on Geekologie, but the wait is over! And as a man who's no stranger to eating computer components, I find this mother board cake utterly delicious looking. I mean, just look at those RAM wafers! You haven't lived until you've left a little memory in the back of your pants.
Hit the jump for one more mother cake.
Sep 3 2008 Yummy!: More Delicious Cakeologie

I know what you're thinking, "damn yo, it's about time for some more delicious fondant". Well I couldn't agree with you more. And to herald in our rubbery new overlord come these wicked cakes from Flickr user chocmocakes. As you can see, that's Rafael there, complete with fondant mask and teeth. Hit the jump for some even more amazingness, including LEGO, Venom, Dora The Exploder, a bowl of cereal and a MUST SEE Nightmare Before Christmas. I swear, I never get tired of cakes. But I do get tired of turkey. Damn you tryptophan!

Jun 12 2008 XBox 360 Cake Looks Good Enough To Eat

It's been a little while since we've posted any sweets on Geekologie, so I figured it was about that time. This is an XBox 360 cake made by Heather Spencer, who is finishing her Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, possibly at some school near Grand Blanc, Michigan (I'm working from a Myspace profile here, folks). The cake looks good. Good enough to eat -- which you really could because it's a cake! I don't have much more info, except I'd hit it. You know, my girlfriend offered to make me a custom cake for my birthday and I said I loved the idea. She told me to choose something that I really like and she'd try her best to turn it into a cake. I thought and thought but finally just told her to go with her own design, something that really exemplified me as a person. So my birthday rolls around and HELLO giant asshole cake.
Hit the jump for closeups of the controller and box, as well as a link to her Myspace gallery with a bunch more delicious cakes.
Jan 22 2008 Mario Cupcakes Don't Provide Invincibility

In today's delectable news, a flickr user that goes by 'hello naomi' has officially become a cupcake goddess according to the Geekologie writer. Asked for further comment the writer responded "I'd eat the hell out of those things." They do look amazing don't they? This woman has clearly got skills in the kitchen *elbows girlfriend*. But be careful eating something like this, because once I made a Mario star cupcake and expected invincibility like in the game. I ran outside and punched the first guy I could find, which happened to be the mailman. He beat me within inches of my life.
Hit continue to see a set of Pac-man cupcakes the saint of sweets also created.
