Jul 15 2009 VISA Card Users Charged $23 Quadrillion
Several people rocking VISA prepaid credit cards got a peculiar $23,148,855,308,184,500 charge this week when using their VISA BUXX cards. That's 23 quadrillion dollars. To put that figure in layman's terms, it's almost double what I'm suing Disney for.
In New Hampshire, Josh Muszynski said he swiped his debit card at a gas station to buy a pack of cigarettes and when he later checked his account online found that he had been charged
In North Texas, Jon Seale saw the same 17-figure bill on his credit card statement, presumably for a meal July 13 at a restaurant owned by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
Uh-oh -- I smell a Wolfgang Puck/big tobacco conspiracy. Rumor has it that dirty Austrian's been cooking with tommaco for years!

Today's shirt.woot is the Monalisaur. I bought one. It cost $10 shipped. I'm going to wear it. Then I'm going to cut a hole where the mouth is and wear it out. Yow yow! I've never made love to a dinosaur-woman hybrid before but I've always wanted to. Although, to my credit, I did make love to a woman with alligator skin once. She was a retiree in Florida selling citrus by the roadside. Best tangerines ever. And I'm not talking about her tits either.

If you try to register a website with a .tv domain (country code for Tuvalu) from Godaddy, a pop-up warns you that the island is sinking and recommends you reconsider. I have no idea what this has to do with anything, just thought I'd pass it along in case you were in the market. And not just because I get a cut of all .gw domains registered, but I do. Guinea-Bissau: where the internet happens. Impressed? You should be, I came up with that slogan all by myself. Geekologie: where geniusness happens. Oh shit -- I just did it again!

Woot.com's sale today is six random Star Wars bobble heads for $30 + $5 shipping. At first I thought it sounded like a ripoff because they look tiny, but each figure actually stands over 7" tall, so it's still a ripoff. Haha -- you still bought them didn't you? I call the Jawa if you get one!
