May 5 2009 But Wait, There's More: Beer Pong Trick Shots

This is like 900 hours of beer pong trick shot footage cut down to 3:41. I'm sure most of you will hate it, but there will always be a soft spot in my heart for college-aged boys playing with their ba...ba...ba...buddies. Haha, you thought I was gonna say balls. I HAVE WHAT THEY CALL SELF CONTROL! Also, a Master's degree in Geekologie. mE=mcAwesome!

Thanks to Dave, who, for the tip, can play on my team at the weekly beer pong tournament at Orange Ball in Rockville, MD. Airfare not included, sorry buddy.

Feb 28 2009 Yes Please!: World Of Warcraft Beer Steins

wow steins.jpg

Oh hell yes. Now that's what I call drinking like a king! A Lich King. ZA-ZA-ZA-ZING! These World of Warcraft beer steins come in three models: the Lich King (pictured here), the Blood of the Horde, and the Alliance United (go HERE to check those out). Each costs $90 and is far superior to a Solo cup, both in volume AND ability to be used as a weapon. KA-CRACK! -15 your skull.

Jul 31 2008 Beer Pong Video Game Sparks Controversy

beer-pong-game.jpg

JV Games latest video game title, Beer Pong, has sparked quite a bit of controversy from outraged parents. Why? Because it's a video game about playing beer pong, and received a "T" for teen rating. It's the first in JV's Frat Party Games series (with soon to follow Elephant Walk and Olive Basketball). So you know what JV Games did to get the game out? They changed the name to Pong Toss and removed all the beer-related content. F*** this is stupid. Parents, you do know your kids are banging hookers and killing people in GTA4, right? Probably not, because it's not called GTA4: Banging Ho's and Busting Caps. Anyway, this game may sound horrible, but at least it's not Needle Toss: Riding The H Train. Which, holy shit, is brilliant. Are there Emmys for video games?

May 9 2008 Ridiculous Beer Pong Table Is Crazy, Nuts

Four couch burning engineers at WVU recently made a ridiculous beer pong table. And when I say ridiculous, I mean it's almost as cool as mine, which is two stools and my roommate's closet door. I recommend you let the video load and then skip to 2:15 to see the finished product. The first part is just still shots of the construction and wiring (which is worth watching if you're into that sort of thing). The table has tons of LEDs which move to the music playing, a nice WVU logo in the middle, and the coolest part -- swirling ball washers built into the table! I thought that was impressive. The kids are currently taking orders if you want something similar, you just tell them what you have in mind and how much you want to spend. But be warned -- this one cost over $1,000 to build and took over 400 hours to complete. Which is funny because at the beginning of the video it says that they only consumed 6 cases of beer during the project. 6 cases? I won't even drive a nail into the wall or mow the lawn without crushing at least 7 cases. Pussies. Oh shit WVU, you just got burned!

Seriously though, great job guys.

Dec 27 2007 Picture And Frame Turn Into Table, Wow!

picture-table.jpg

Designer Verena Lang must live in a broom closet like I do, because she's the one responsible for the space-saving PictureTable. It's a picture frame that hangs on the wall but folds out to become a table when you need a place to eat dinner. Unfortunately there are no chair fold-outs, so you may have to stand. Now not to toot my own trumpet or anything (toot-toodle-toot!), but I made one of these in college. It was a beerpong table that folded down from the wall, just like her design. Of course it didn't feature a nice piece of art or anything. No, it was mostly penis and vagina doodles done in crayon and magic marker. Although now that I think of it, that thing was a freaking masterpiece. I'm calling the Louvre.
