THANKS FOR THE INVITE: Mom Arrested For Hiring Strippers For Son's 16th Birthday Party

February 20, 2013 / birthday, having a great time, i think i went to ruby tuesday's for my 16th birthday party and there were definitely no strippers there (there were some bomb-ass loaded baked potato skins though!), inappropriate, parenting, parenting: it's not as easy as it sounds, quality parenting, sweet sixteen, take it off take it off! whoa -- put it back on please here's a dollar please just put it back on i'm begging you, yeah you did, yow yow!

Because quality parenting is a dying art, a 33-year old mother from South Glens Falls, New York, was recently arrested and charged after hiring two strippers for her 16-year old son's bowling alley birthday party. For reference, when the mother was her son's age she was pregnant with him.

The Nov. 3 party at Spare Time Bowling Alley featured two exotic dancers performing for partygoers as young as 14. The dancers stripped to thong underwear and bras and gave lap dances to some of the teenagers. A photo taken with a cellphone camera shows an upside-down dancer with a teen's head between her knees and her head between his legs.


Police began investigating the party after photos appeared online and stories appeared in the media. Police interviewed many of the 80 people at the part, which took place in a private room that had windows covered with butcher paper.

Endangering the welfare of a child is a misdemeanor that can carry a prison sentence up to one year. According to the law, endangerment occurs when a person "knowingly acts in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child less than 17 years old."

Whoa whoa whoa -- they only danced in thongs and bras? That's not stripping, that's what's considered 'bikini dancing' and completely different than stripping. Real stripping, as I'm sure most of you are aware involves *ripping off tear-away pants* real nudity! "GW? Why is there a piece of paper towel stuck to your penis?" SHOW'S OVER, THROW YOUR TIPS ON THE STAGE AND LEAVE.

Thanks to everyone who sent this, the majority of which expressed disappointment with their own parents for not thinking of this.

    I'm sure the only reason she got in trouble was because one kid didn't get the invite, and in his jealousy, exercised his humanity and ruined it for everyone else.

    Even if there is a double standard in society with regards gender on certain issues, you still aren't excused for identifying it in your own thoughts and then dismissing it instead of attempting to correct your thinking.

    I'm pretty sure it was consensual. If a 16 year old which by the way is the age of consent you dummy. Consents to a simulated sex act and infact engages in it it is completely legal. Notice that the strippers weren't arrested.
