PANDEMONIUM: Hacker Hacks Local Emergency Broadcast System, Televises Warning Of Zombie Uprising

zombie-apocalypse-emergency-broadcast.jpg

A hacker in Montana (apparently they exist) is being blamed for compromising the local emergency alert system and broadcasting on KRTV and the CW that there have been reports of undead bodies rising from the grave. They weren't though, it was just a hoax. Or -- or -- DID it actually happen and this make-believer hacker is just part of a massive government coverup? Question everything. "Pretty sure it was the hacker thing." Fine, but don't come running to my house for supplies when you finally realize we're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. "Please?" Nope -- I'll snipe your knees out and watch from my balcony while the zombies eat you. "Cold." Like a box of frozen fish sticks, bro.

Hit the jump for the actual interruptions on both channels -- the actual warning is all audio though.

Thanks to Andrew S, dove, the guy who's not a zombie yet Evil Ares, Mackynz, Carolyn, Matthew, Earl P and Jessie, who don't trust the emergency broadcast system. Right? Most of the time it's just crying wolf anyways. BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP -- THIS WAS ONLY A TEST. Then why'd you have to scare the shit out of me?!

Anyone who suffered as a result of this deserve what they got.

I would have believed it and started to panic.

  • asdfasdfasdf

I'd have raided my neighbors for supplies

  • I don't know what the bigger prank is here: the zombie warning or $80 for a pancake pan.
