YES: Real Life Mario Kart With RFID Enabled Power Ups

This is a video of a group of dudes playing real life Mario Kart thanks to power ups fitted with RFID tags and modified karts that react appropriately (read: crash) when they read a nearby tag. I don't know about you, but count me in. "Put some clothes on first." But I've done some of my best driving naked! Also, I wish I had friends who did stuff like this. All my friends do is complain about my nudity on road trips, piss me off, and wish I had different friends. Hey -- will YOU be my friend? "Not an ice cube's chance between the devil's buttcheeks." Soooooo...only for a couple seconds? I don't know what you're trying to tell me. "The answer's no." But what if he stopped clenching and the ice cube fell out?! "Still no." Dammit, GIVE OUR LOVE A CHANCE.
Hit the jump for the video, the first half of which is explaining the technology.
Thanks to Charlie and Jason, who agree this might be the closest thing we come to real life Mario Kart till we're all up cruising that great big Rainbow Road in the sky.
