Up To No Good: Titanium Business Card Lockpicking Set

lockpicking-business-card.jpg

This is a $50 detachable lockpicking set etched out of a titanium business card (similar to the one this guy made a long time ago) so you can carry the power to break and enter around in your wallet. Me? I carry the power to break and enter around IN MY SHOE. *kicking door* Holy hell, I think I just broke my leg. "That's because that was a wall, not a door." WELL MAYBE THEY SHOULD LABEL THEM BETTER. Want to watch me punch through this window? "That's a microwave." That hot cocoa made fun of my sister!

Thanks to brandy, who picks locks the old fashioned detective show way: in black and white with a stethoscope.

ADT recently ran a marketing campaign in Chile in which they slid pop-up boxes under people's apartment doors to make them think somebody was in their place while they were gone. Scare tactics -- I like it! When not held flat, the boxes pop open to a cube, allowing them to be... / Continue →

The Antrepo 'I'm Not A Security Camera' is a desk lamp in the form factor of a security camera. Set it on the desk or hang it on the wall -- either way you'll think twice before looking at what you and I both know you looked at online while at work. Tsk, tsk. Plus, it might ... / Continue →

  • In California, USA it's illegal to possess lock picks and any other burglary type tools with the intent to feloniously break into any building, railroad car, aircraft, or vessel, trailer coach, or vehicle. (Penal Code 466-469) Having said that, you're presumed innocent until proven guilty so, you wouldn't get arrested or charged with anything having these in your wallet unless you were caught using them in an illegal manner.

  • Good luck trying to argue that these are not "burglar's tools" if you are ever caught by the cops with this in your pocket. Class A misdemeanor in NY. http://codes.lp.findlaw.com/ny...

  • Kevin Mitnick did this half a decade (or more) ago. His was more cool as it was a business card and also it's F'ing Kevin Mitnick.
