What, No Johnny Five?: Poster Of Famous Robots

October 1, 2012 / and this is just a sampling!, characters, death to you all!, different strokes for different folks, famous, game over, good job, it's tiring being the only one who gives a dang, poster, robots, sure why not, the only good robot is a dead robot who's had its parts salvaged and turned into a radio or vibrator or something, we're doomed

This is a poster of famous robots created by artist Daniel Nyari (links to his website which links to his Society 6 shop in case you want to buy a print). He didn't create the robots, just the poster. God created the robots. No, no he didn't. Humans created the robots, and they're going to kill us all. Remember that one movie where everybody dies in the end? It's gonna be exactly like that. But bloodier.

Thanks to chichi, who acknowledges that I alone am humanity's last hope against the robots but will probably drink the Kool-Aid at the first sign of danger.

    My first impulse is to bitch, but I should really thank the artist first for coming up with this, as it is quite cool. The inclusion of Golion (Voltron) really rocks!!

    Now, for the bitching. Marvin the Paranoid Android should be the one from the TV show and not that stupid movie.

    Also, as mentioned already, the omission of the Lost in Space robot is unforgivable (figuratively speaking). The absence of Crow, T Robot and Tom Servo is also a bit of an oversight.

    And I would rather see Roy Batty than Data included on this poster, maybe even Nomad.

  • I agree that some of these aren't robots. A few that I can think of: J5 from Blankman, N.E.P.T.R. from Adventure Time, H.E.L.P.eR. from Venture Bros., Giru from Dragon Ball GT, and Sonny from I, Robot. For shits and giggles I'd add JP from Grandma's Boy.
