Conceptual Trampoline Bridge Across The River Seine

October 18, 2012 / bridge, conceptaul, count me in, france, hopping skipping and jumping, it reminds me of those big adventure treehouses they have at amusement parks with giant trampoline floors and rope swings and all that awesomness, it'll never happen, it's all fun and games till somebody with a pegleg pops the damn thing, jumping, NOT A REAL BRIDGE, we can't drive cars over that!

This is a conceptual trampoline bridge designed for a Paris bridge-imagining competition (those exist) by Atelier Zündel Cristea. It consists of tubular inflatable walls with a series of giant trampolines strung between them so you can jump your way across the river. I'M GONNA STEAL YOUR BOUNCE. 100% impractical, but FUN. "Not fun." Who said that? *crowd parts to reveal man in a wheelchair* Oh, right. Not fun.

Thanks to Rodney, who doesn't jump in bounce-houses anymore because whenever he does he winds up trying to do a backflip and biting his knee. Just kidding, that' me. I have scars.
