BREAKING: Real Ninja Turtle LEGO Sets Are Coming

October 11, 2012 / i like tuttles, lego, now make zelda ones, omg please please please please pleaaaaase make a technodrome playset, plastic, playsets, smart thinking, teenage mutant ninja turtles, they will be mine -- oh yes -- they will be mine, they're coming, tmnt, truthfully some of those minifigs are on the weak side, where the hell are april and casey jones?!

I hate to have two LEGO related posts only separated by a single other article, but you know what they say: when life hands you lemons, you squeeze that shit into a fresh cut and EMBRACE THE PAIN. So officially licensed LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sets are coming out next year. Related: I will probably be perpetually broke all of 2013. Unrelated: the dog just busted ass so bad I had to do a double take to make sure there weren't any solids on the couch.

    This is NOT *real* TMNT...

    This is the shitty knock off of the original GOOD version.

    And Sid, you should be shot in the face for promoting that abortion of a catch phrase they decided to use instead of cowabunga.

    Saying this isn't real TMNT is like me saying my left hand can't write since I am right handed. Of course I can write with my left hand, it just does not feel the same, or look the same. I am a incredibly avid fan of all things Ninja Turtles and I find it very weird when anyway looks at a t.v. show or movies based on a comic and complain. There is so many different universes within a comic book continuity and to say that this is not TMNT is absolutely ridiculous, Especially if at least one of the original creators supports it and gives it their blessing. Lets not forget how bad The Next Mutation show was, and how much dislike that got from both Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Including the infamous Venus de Milo character which was a fifth female turtle which has only been seen on this show because of the intense hatred Peter Laird has for the character. Either way, I just purchased the first half of that series on dvd, and although corny, it is hard for me to dislike anything Ninja Turtles because when push comes to shove, they still hold on to everything I love about them from the comics to the shows, and the movies. Now changing them to aliens as Michael Bay stated would change the whole entire story, and that is a difference to complain about.
