Baseball Will Never Be The Same: Quadrocopters Work Together To Play Throw And Catch

quadrocopter-throw-and-catch.jpg

This is a video from Switzerland of a group of three quadrocopters that work together to throw and catch a ball in an elastic net dangling between them. Why do we need that? We don't. AT ALL. If robots start playing all the throw and catch, what are our children going to do -- stay inside and play video games? They'll all grow up little porkers! "Too late -- look around, GW." *looking around* At what -- all the empty beer bottles and pizza boxes? I should hire a maid.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to Kelly and Matt, who agree the only thing quadrocopters should be throwing are their lives away into active volcanoes.
