That's Disgusting: Stitched Together Skin Cake

stitches-cake-1.jpg

This is the 'Slice' skin cake from confectionary artist Gillian Bell. It looks like pieces of skin stitched together and makes the perfect metaphor for marriage because that's when two different people sew their lives together into one disgusting monster. Personally, I only trust one man with my gruesome cake needs: Dr. Frankenstein. Now that guy can bake a disgusting cake. And I'm not just saying that because more often than not you'll find a severed penis inside, but I am starting to wonder where they all come from.

Hit the jump for some closeups in case you're gross.

Thanks to Casey, who remembers a time when wedding cakes didn't have themes except white or flowers.
