Get Out!: $3,500 Fridge With A DOOR INSIDE THE DOOR

September 14, 2012 / fridge, I have a $400 refrigerator and it works just fine (not it doesn't sometimes it just stops working and ruins everything inside -- plus the light hasn't come on since 2010), i like my pudding cold don't judge me!, it will be mine, lg, life is good (jk jk i'm struggling), mmmm ice-cold chocolate milk, so it's come to this

This is the $3,500 Door-in-Door refrigerator from LG. It has a door inside the door for making Xzibit jokes and storing all your go-to snacks like chocolate milk and pudding packs. Is it a fairly useless gimmick? Absolutely. Does that make me want it any less? Not one bit.

    I honestly can't find the Xzibit joke and thats sad 'cuz I do listen to his muzik! but honestly about the fridge, I think it's fucking amazing hands down, I know door in a door is old news but it's still a good way to help keep the cold in and organize stuff you need front and center, but I liked this on first impression, when I saw the ad on t.v. I never even noticed the auto chiller but now that I've seen that I'm sold, even in the freezer it takes 30 min. to go from pop case to chilly so something that chills my drink alcoholic or not in under 10 min. is epic in my opinion.

  • It's designed to limit electricity usage, opening the little door uses far less than opening the big one all the time, far from useless

  • Eh. I'm unmoved. There have been plenty of fridges with the door in the door that opens so you can grab drinks. And $3500 for a fridge that doesn't even have an LCD interface? My fridge has one, and it's a helluva lot cheaper than $3500.

    not new my beer fridge im my garage has the door like that and its from the 60s and it was free minus the gas to go pick it up

    They finally sell those in america now? In korea they have lots of different kinds, we can set which part of the fridge we want to be the freezer, vegetable bin, kimchi bin etc with a touch panel. Korean tvs and cellphones r also very nice btw, hahaha

    Had a fridge with the "door in door" deal back in the 80's when I was a kid so you could grab a soda without letting all the cold air out. Nothing new here, move along.
