World Of Warcraft Expansion Gets A Cinematic Trailer

warcraft-cinematic.jpg

This is the cinematic made to advertise the latest Warcraft expansion, 'Mists of Pandaria'. I'm pretty sure all you hardcore World of Warcrafters (WoWzers?) have already seen it, but it's worth a watch even for your non-players. Me? I'm the opposite of a player. One time at the club there were like, a hundred hot girls there and I didn't talk to a single one and spilled two drinks on myself. I guess I'm just more of a hustler.

Thanks to everyone who sent this and not to my buddy Terry who's been trying to strong-arm me into playing Darksiders II with him.

This is a World of Warcraft commercial featuring Chuck Norris. It's topical because of this whole Chuck Norris joke craze that just started on the internet. "That was 2005." Exaaaactly. DIABLO III BETTER NOT SUCK. Hit the jump for the video time machine.... / Continue →

Remember that kid at Blizzcon that asked the WoW developers what happened to Falstad Wildhammer and made you realize that, no matter how bad life gets, at least you're not him? Well they decided to include Wildhammer Fact Checker in the game, standing right next to the elusive... / Continue →

Leeeeeeeeeeroy Jenkins! I meant to post this story last month, but, I'm going to be perfectly honest with you, I got drunk and forgot about it. But now we know the results so I don't have to write about it twice, which works out for me because words can be tricky to type. An... / Continue →

  • Kung Fu Panda kicked some WoW ass!

  • kung fu panda 3 .. thats the end of the discussion .

  • People are forgetting no one (or very few people anyway) play WoW for the lore. Who gives a shit what the story says, you dont play it for that anyway.
As Long as the gameplay is good that is all that matters.

You know, the animation department should just splinter off and start their own film company already.

  • By the looks of it Blizzard has stopped trying. Their harmony theme in the expansion says it all. It's funny seeing how desperate they've gotten with their "BUY A 12 MONTH SUB AND GET THIS DISAPPOINTING THIRD INSTALLMENT OF DIABLO FOR FREE!" So glad I quit a couple of months ago, good riddance!

Why is the human fighting with a stick when he has a HUGE sword? Why are Horde and Alliance "teaming up"?

  • JimmyThr

So this is not a trailer for Kung Fu panda 3?

  • Sh17C0que

So glad I stopped playing 2 years ago.

  • Too bad the game is nothing like the cinematic. Oh hurr durr, point and click! Watch me play game! Hurr durrrrrr!

WoW, probably wouldn't have killed them to make it look less like kung-fu panda though, b4 anyone says it I read the comments I know warcraft had the concept first, I'm just saying the cinematic overlooking the village looked like a scene from KFP the vid was cooler b4 a chinese bear showed up.

  • it's actually 'mists of pandAria" too.

  • Man, i really hate to sound like a huge nerd, But the Pandarans have been in the warcraft lore quite a bit longer than kung fu panda has been around. not to say that blizzard didnt get some inspiration from some other source.

  • BillGatesIsYourDaddy

hate to sound like a bigger nerd but Dreamworks had the idea for Kung Fu Panda back in 1993

  • Hate to sound like the biggest nerd, but Pandas and Martial arts have been two of the most popular aspects of Chinese culture for hundreds of years.

  • DoubleFish

Hate to sound like the Mother of all Nerds, but...

Oh what the heck. You win.

  • zF23
