Now Do A Kickflip: Skateboard Deck Ceiling Fan

skateboard-fan-1.jpg

This is a ceiling fan somebody removed the blades from, then drilled three skateboard decks to use as replacements. I'm not sure if they used some sort of industrial ceiling fan, but I thought manufacturers generally tried to make fan blades as light as possible. Skateboard decks are like what, two or three pounds apiece? I say turn it on full blast and stick your fingers up there, see what happens.

Hit the jump for a couple more shots.

Thanks to c-nasty, who mounted surfboards to a ceiling fan and destroyed all the walls in his living room.

I agree with GW, skate decks are way too heavy to try and use for fan blades, not to mention if everyone in the world took their favourite things or hobbies and made a fan out of it I'd have a really dangerous fan on my ceiling made of swords and assault rifles lolz

That first one there has two sets of holes... methinks that this is poorly homemade and without the proper balance. Skateboard to the FACE!
