'Man of Steel' Teasers and Comic Con Trailer

Who says a superhero movie can't be pieced together entirely from the "Americana" and "Gone Fishin'" stock footage collections? Director Zack Snyder this weekend made his case for the matter with the first Man of Steel teaser, which debuted before The Dark Knight Rises in two voice-over varieties: Superman's Kryptonian dad Russell Crowe and adoptive dad Kevin Costner.
Both teasers feature fatherly encouragement that goes far beyond our dads' persistent reminders to stay out of his sock drawer, but neither really gives you much of a look at Superman himself. For more of the man himself in costume, have a look at the lengthier Comic Con trailer that also recently made its way online. It's bootlegged, but this particular recording is decent enough to at least give you an idea of some of the dramatic, consistently-windblown scenes Snyder has planned for us.
