The Puke Inducer: Terrifying Russian Theme Park Ride

May 4, 2012 / aaaaaaaaaaah we're all gonna die, barfing on everyone, having a great time, i'm too old for shit like that, no thank you, no thanks, not my idea of fun, one time i was on a carnival ride and the car i was on disconnected from the ride and i skidded across the parking lot, puking like a crazy person, russia, video, whee!, when i watched it the first time i for real thought it had broken and everyone was gonna plummet, wtf

This is a video of some terrifying amusement park ride built in the woods of Russia, shot on some shitty Cold War era camera phone. Now I know you may have seen rides LIKE this one before, but this is the first time I saw one that got this crazy. Just watch the video and skip to 0:50 or after if you're impatient. Would you ride it? Because I rode it twice -- IN A ROW. Now I'm suing for brian damage. "You mean brain?" Exactly.

  • I have a feeling that if you sat in the middle you wouldn't get quite the same sensation as you would if you were sat near one on the ends. But yeah I'd go on it. It's nothing new, as shown by other people in the comments, but you know what I'd do first? Eat. A lot. And then if it does come to the point where I puke, then I won't be the only one to  experience it. i'm such a nice guy.

  • The Manufacturer is Vekoma and this is their Waikiki Wave Super Flip model, it has been around for 20 years or more.

    Meh. We got one of those in Vienna, but it's got a fountain underneath that sprays you while the ride holds you upside down. So you shit your pants and get drenched all at once.

  • I've been to these rides before. Twice in a row actually. It's quite fun really..

  • Is this new?  I swear I've seen these things before.  I think they even have something like it in Kennywood or Idlewild.  They really aren't that bad in regards to the flipping, the real problem comes if you are over 6', like myself, because the restraint system on rides like this  just aren't designed for you're height.  I found this out the hard way riding something similar at Geauga Lake.
