Could Not Be Concealed: Compound Bow/Shotgun Hybrid

This is a video of a guy who (allegedly) modded a 12-guage shotgun to allow the action of a compound bow to push the firing pin and send a shell on its way. I don't know about you, but I like my shotguns small enough to be concealed in a pant leg. There's some debate over the video's authenticity because the recoil on the gun looks pretty iffy, but I dunno, I believe it. Maybe he didn't pack too much heat in the shell for fear of the thing blowing up in his face. And I don't blame him. Besides, if you're really gonna bother faking a video of a shotgun/bow hybrid it's time to get a damn life. I dunno, go drink beer in a buddy's garage or something.

    This is an awesome idea, but that just kind of sounds and looks fake to me. Plus, they never show the target or whether or not he hit it, which is kind of strange for a video showing off a gun. Probably fake, but also probably doable, and I hope someone does it soon because that's freaking sweet.

    This inspires me to come up with a different but similar hybrid weapon.
    The chainsaw crossbow. It's ammo are of course the chainsaws.
