Why Didn't I Think Of That?: iPhone Case With Charger

iphone-case-charger.jpg

This is the JuiceTank, an iPhone case with integrated A/C charger. Unfortunately, it is NOT compatible with plugs in foreign countries without using a fork to adjust the socket first. *snickers*

We designed the case with a micro USB pass through so you can charge and sync your iPhone with a micro USB cord... if you have one handy. If not, you'll always have your JuiceTank with you to recharge your iPhone.

The case will be made out of a high grade polycarbonate to protect your phone from daily wear and tear. The inside of the case will feature a soft touch rubberized finish to keep your iPhone snug and secure.

The JuiceTank is currently a Kickstarter project but $55 will get you one (eventual retail $70) if they meet their funding goal. If they don't meet their funding goal you'll be left with a dead iPhone at the bar with no ride home except the girl you blew off earlier because you thought you were too good for her. SPOILER: You weren't. Now where is she? Exaaaactly, making out in the back of a cab with some guy with a Nokia.

iPhone Charging Case of the Day [geeks.thedailywh.at]

Thanks to Mark, who tried to tell me he has a satellite phone that never needs charging despite it looking suspiciously like a soup can and long piece of string. Listen: I don't care if it's a satellite phone or not just call down to your mom and see if she'll bring us a grilled cheese.

There are Comments.
  • Great product output! Now we have portable charger for our
iPhones wherever we go. It makes me think whether to change my free iPhone case
    to this. Hmm…

  • It's bad for the phone to be charging with a case on it.. it over heats the battery. :/

  • Kenlin Bros

What a brilliant idea! I never want to use my phone while it's charging!

  • DomPearceDesign

Pretty inventive idea, shame it'll only work with American style power sockets though. I could imagine a British Style 3pin could kinda work if you got creative, but a Euro-Style wouldn't at all.

  • Very clever!

  • MrFree

    Nice design GW!

  • Shaun9lives

    Well, that's brilliant.

That case is almost as dark as the theme to Geekologie. Don't ever change it!
