Want: Upcoming Link And Samus Aran Action Figures

February 14, 2012 / action figures, characters, coming soon, count me in, do want, i'll at least get link maybe samus, link is my man, lookin' good, man one time i walked in and caught a g.i. joe humping one of my sneakers, new products, nintendo, poseable, samus aran, you're never too old to collect toys (unless we're talking sexy toys in which case mid 50's is the limit)

Spotted at a recent toy fair or something (I'm a great reporter) these Max Factory/Figma action figures are scheduled for release later this year. There will be a non-poseable Samus Aran Zero Suit model, a fully poseable Samus Aran in her regular armor, and a fully poseable Link. I assume the finished Link will have a coat of paint on him as well. But if he doesn't I'll just paint him myself -- I don't care! I haven't been this excited to see an action figure since the doctor pulled He-Man out of my ass.

    I don't know that I've ever noticed Miss Aran with hips that wide, but I'm okay with it... I'm also glad they didn't find it necessary to give her ridiculous Lara Croft-sized breasts.

    ...not that there's anything wrong with those! ;)

  • they really aren't that big, you must not be very used to breasts

  • Well... I guess it depends on which version of Lara Croft.  I seem to remember the pre-rendered version of Lara from artwork and advertisements for the first 3 games had ridiculously large breasts that would be statistically unlikely for a woman of that build.

    If anything I would say it's just as likely that you're either not used to skinny women or real breasts... one or the other.

    Also, I find it hilarious that the Zero Suit model doesn't even have the same proportions as the Power Suit model. Come on guys, really?

    Wow, looks good. I really want the Link one. Also that stand that lets you pose action figures dynamically. I want that thing!
