This is a disturbing video of a robot that can "juggle" two ping-pong balls using a paddle and a whole bunch of human-killing algorithms. I know the screencap looks like there might actually be four or five balls, but that's just because the little f***er is so damn fast. Accurate too. Now imagine if that were a knife instead of a ping-pong paddle -- he'd never miss your eye sockets!
Hit the jump for the robot in action. Unless you're a circus clown, in which case don't. Can't have any sad clowns killing themselves today. Also added an older video of a robot juggling a single ball, but in more of a traditional jugglin' fashion.
Thanks to asiantom, who once juggled three girlfriends before getting busted and his wiener nearly chopped off. And to Jeremy, who doesn't juggle anything but flaming swords because he's a traditionalist.

If the inventive minds behind these ridiculous robot breakthroughs could actually come up with something that's not completely useless, I wouldn't think it's just another pointless iphone app
How about a robot that can cure the common cold, catch puke when you're sick, help old people walk, builds a shed for your lawnmower before turning itself into your lawnmower, or toaster, or one that transforms into a usable limb for an amputee or somethin?
Nah... let's make something that juggles. That's what's been missing in the world until Apple's next big announcement

What we really need is a robot that makes other pointless robots, that way we can put all these "scientists" back in the bread line where they belong.
Okay, maybe "need" is a strong word, but it would sure be funny:
Robot says "I invented a robot that throws shoes." Meanwhile some scientist cries and throws his half finished shoe throwing robot in the garbage.

Not really juggling is it. And it dosen't seen to be able to cope with more than one ball very well.
I think the clowns are safe.
