Aug 4 2010Oh God No: A Stair-Climbing LEGO Robot
This is a video of X2 (who looks suspiciously like the illegitimate buttchild of Johnny 5 and WALL-E), an AUTONOMOUS robot built from a LEGO Mindstorms NXT set that can climb and descend stairs on it's own. We aren't even safe upstairs anymore! Do I have your attention now? Good, I'm the world's greatest lover. But that's not the point. The point is -- wait -- no that was the point. The lovemakin': I'm good at it. Just thought you should know in case you're writing my biography. Also, put something in there about how I once tamed a volcano with my sexual prowess. WHICH I DID DO. Didn't I, Mount St. Helens? I lava you.

Well i think thats actually pretty good for a Lego bot, it's to bad it did not have any sensors so it can do it on its own, its all preprogrammed. But still pretty impressive.

What are you scared of?? At that rate, it's going to take that thing a full hour to walk up a flight of stairs... at least! If you can't find a bucket of water to dump on it's head and short-circuit that mother in that amount of time, you deserve to get got.

I am with #9 if you are worried about that thing catching you need to get a hover round. there are plenty of companies willing to get you one "at no cost to you"
