if you keep up with modern technology, they do have technology that will penetrate your clothes and see beyond them, so your naked body. The government is started to do more research on it for their marines and to see into building. X-ray vision is actually coming true.

Just for the record, the body scanners totally use low level radio waves not x-rays, and if one were to actually try to wear these pasties through the machine they would just be told to go and remove them before they would be allowed to proceed, if not just subjected to a much more thorough/invasive search.

@39 - Obviously you haven't seen a picture of an actual scan, because it can in no way see detail like that. It will show the shape of your body, that's it. If you looked at ten scans of people with the same build as you, you wouldn't be able to pick yours out.
