Actually setting up a room acoustically perfect (I'm assuming for their sake) actually takes quite a bit of engineering. This is on top of whatever else their doing with the room but I wouldn't doubt it though.

ie. The sydney operah house costs around $100M. Architecturally it's a master piece. But acoustically it's a total piece of shit. It is far from one of the better places in the world to see a show at. Looks pretty though...

The problem was that Apple was to busy trying to disguise the phone with a casing to make it look like an older Iphone. This prevented the the actual field tester from picking up on the problem. Maybe confinded in such a small area i.e 100 Mil test room wouldnt produce the range needed to notice a drop in signal strength?!?!?!?....Okay your all right $100 million and all they could come up with is a rubberband?

That's not necessarily true. Every phone I've ever got the first thing I buy for it is a pack of screen protectors and an off-brand silicone -bumper- case from Amazon for maybe $2.00 total. Keeps my phone working and in great shape, and it saves me the heinous markup on said cases in stores. That said, lol @ Apple for making such a noob mistake.
