Fingernails: I have no idea why we have them. I do know women use them to accessorize and attract the opposite sex by painting them bright colors, but there's gotta be more to it than that, right? Because if that's their only purpose, why do men have them too? Riddle me that, nipples! Life's deepest, darkest mysteries aside, these are some Star Trek themed nails. Not bad, huh? TOO BAD YOU'RE GONNA LOSE THAT PINKIE! Get it? Red-shirt joke! Here comes another: what did one red-shirt say to the other? Nothing -- they were both f***ing dead already.

Thanks to janiepants, who's smart enough to never wear red on a space mission. Smart thinking janie, but I wouldn't mess with pink either.

This is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.
This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Max was in the dr's office and sung Moon river as his Prostrate was being examined.

@Geek writer: We have fingernails and toenails so that we don't accidentally whack our tips off. Think about it, if you stub your big toe, the very end tip would probably bust right off if it weren't for your nail. This is what I learned in anatomy class, and I don't know whether or not they are grasping at straws with this theory. I agree with #5's answer though. Those are all undeniably true.

Yuck. Anyone who has any kind of nail knowledge knows these are poorly glued on/grown out fakes and the paint job is sloppy. Sorry GW, look a little harder for cute nerdy...fingernails. They're out there.

@20, I don't get why you say they are fakes.. my nail shape is about the same when painted.. and the ones in these pictures are uneven.. if they were fake, you think they would have them cut all the same size... yeah sure, they aren't the best painted nails out there, but the theme is cute.
