Okay this is probably a stupid question, but since I don’t know shit about firearms I’m gonna ask anyway. Could it be possible to scramble the bullets detonation system from a distance rendering it ineffective with MGARJS?

The XM25 has been around since someone looked at the XM29 (you might know this as the "OICW") and said "it's a bit big, but if you get a saw and cut it in half, then it might be better".

Complete waste of money. It does what the M203 does slightly better. The only difference is that a soldier needs to turn some dial rather than angle his rifle up slightly. Oh, and it's another half ton of gear that needs to be carried, the M203 just mounts underneath the rifle. That's kinda important too.

And before anyone says "why don't they make one that mounts under the rifle", I'll tell you! Because then we're back at the XM29! Too heavy to be fired accurately!

Still can't fault the US Army, at least they've waited until they've kitted their troops out with some personal protection and guns that actually work before chucking money away on stuff like that... unlike *some* MODs I can mention...

I remember seeing the OCIW from Alliant Techsystems in popular science in 1998, with the same grenade system.

I guess if the army likes what they see and is mass produced would a person in the Squad or platoon be designated with this im sure it would be OUTRAGIOUSLY expensive to have everyman carrying this.
