Apr 18 2010One's Never Enough: Guy's 2nd Avatar Tattoo

avatat-1.jpg

Because the first one was kind of crappy looking, Avatar tattoo guy decided to take another stab at it and got Neytiri #2 on his opposite shoulder. Per some of his wall posts:

thats 2 tattoos out of 6 4 more to go this year and next year will be the back ground this was 5 hrs of pain this one hurt but worth it

hoping if i can to have them all done by the re release of the movie in late summer you look at this tat in person dam the detail is something else he did a excillent job

well m,e i have never seen a movie more than once EVER in theatre except avatar and would watch it every day all day if i could

i can watch this all day and night dam shes gorgious

So you're going for six, huh? Too bad I already have eight! I AM THE NA'VI TATTOO KING! Plus I was born with them so you know I'm the chosen one. Chosen for what is anybody's guess, but I'm going with jury duty. Wait -- gotdamnit.

Hit it for a bunch more shots of the different strokes for different folks.

Guy On Some Avatar Forum Or Something

Thanks to Steve, who has like forty Smurf tattoos so he's really got no room to talk.

first

and thats fucking ridiculous... such a waste of money.

I'm all for tattoos but make sure it's something your not going to regre... eh... The guy looks old he probably won't live long enough to regret it.

Where be all the tags, bro?

this man doesn't deserve to be related to any other topic ever posted by GW...what a loser.

Obsession is bad, but it became obvious this guy has had a history with bestiality when he called her gorgeous. Also, Its just thnot the same without the tags.

At least it's a better quality than the first one I guess...

PHEW! Tags added, I was pretty upset about those GW, never again. You disappoint me sometimes.

People always get tats when they're in love. 'Specially in the Springtime, when a young Geek's fancy turns to thoughts of imaginary blue jungle girls.

Remember that GW, next time you pass a tat parlor. She may not be real.

Although if she is it's sort of romantic I guess .... sheeshe, what am I saying .... still ... no, crazy talk.

FAIL²

Really??? WHY????? Someone please shoot him.

@10

agreed

Am I the only one who hasn't seen avatar yet & doesn't care at all to see it anytime soon? Was it really that good?

I'm with anyone who says these tattoos are ridiculous, a total fail indeed

@13
its nothing special. worth a watch if it comes on tv, defo not worth paying for

@9, that's pretty much what I thought, sad bastard is either in love or pussywhipped like this poor sap http://tinyurl.com/y4g4kb7

@13, I agree with 14.
Wait till it's on TV and you have nothing better to do.

5hrs....for that?! I guess to each his own but....meh....

@13

Don't watch it, it's not worth your time or eye cells, i can't understand why everyone thinks avatar is good.

Wow. I mean, Avatar wasn't THAT bad, but it wasn't the insanely good movie everyone makes it out to be. It's like if Pocahontas met Star Trek. Not worth getting two crappy tattoo's over.

Well, in a few years time they'll just look like two horribly disfigured blobs on his shoulderblades. Way to go!

LAST!

thats pretty terrible

I really enjoyed Avatar but it's not tattoo-worthy.

better get workin out them abs if you wanna look good for the rerun

hah kuoou

Really??? THis man can watch avatar all day everyday?? I watched it once on cinema in 3D, I was stoned out of my head and still didn't like. It was fun because of the 3D mostly (and the weed. I can watch the shitiest movie and still have fun!) but I wouldn't watch it again. THis crap is for 12 year olds!!

This is ridiculous.For me, the tattoo must be symbolic and have personal importance. However, I think it is largely up to the individual...

100% Horrible... >.<

I just wish the guy would hurry up and undergo that tail attachment surgery because I'm kinda doubting that he can really communicate with my cat by plugging into it with his .. whaaaa?

Who cares!!! My boyfriend thinks the same with me. He- is eight years older than me, lol. We met online at an age gap dating site[_www. A G E R O M A N C E com_]---a nice and free place for Younger- Women and Older Men, or Older Women and Younger Men, to interact with each other. Maybe you wanna check out or- tell your friends.

first; i liked dat movie.
second; yeah...i don't know why, but that character is oddly hot (real life too! but not as hot as sigourney weaver's blue kitteh-ness!)
but
third; wtf, over!!!?
REALLY!!!?!!!

Avatard.

If you're going to get a tattoo then make it something that never goes out of style and something that you'll always love. I think that Avatar will go out of style and I think that sooner or later you'll grow tired of it. In any case, this is insane.

Where's the rip home tree tat at?

Man, Michael Lohan needs to stop drinking.

cant wait for appocalypse caused human dumbness

wow, there really are no limits to how retarded some people can be.

Honestly, I think it is a really cool tattoo. Yeah, I'm only 19, and in love with the movie. People get tattoos that THEY have interests in, or something that may relate to life. The movie was fantastic. If all you have time for is sitting on here BASHING on someone's tattoo, you know NOTHING about, get yourself checked, and stop pointing fingers.

I saw this movie multiple times in theaters, enjoyed it every time... Heck, I am a fan. But getting a tattoo of movie characters is a sign of obsession, and I find this to be absolutely stupid. I'll bet this guy's last words are "I never should have gotten that Avatar tattoo..."

If I ever got a tattoo, it would actually mean something, not just a face. Probably some very inspirational song lyric that sticks in my head, written across my back in a vine-like pattern. Yeah... that would be cool.

I really enjoyed Avatar and admire the the Na'vi way and Na'vi language (yes, I do speak Na'vi - it freaks people out). Getting a tattoo of something you are a fan of isn't unheard of and in fact what people want to get drilled into their skin is THEIR decision. Not the general public's. I'm heavily tattooed, and I have an Avatar related tattoo as well on my leg, but I plan to incorporate other works into that as a start of a sci-fi movie montage type thingy.

The biggest mistake this dude did, was not check the tattooist's portfolio. Bad ink stays with you for life, if it's done right, it'll feel right! But multiple tattoos of one character from a movie, definitely screams 'obsessed'.
