Feb 9 2010Disney Princesses Letting It All Hang Out

I know that was probably false advertising, but I'm a jerk and you already knew that. Dickery aside, allegedly the drawing came first and the cosplayers decided to re-enact it. Chest-ily. Which, I think we can all agree, is the best way to reenact anything. *ahem* General Lee? Oh come on, Grant's already got his shirt off.
Disney Girls Smile For the Camera [buzzfeed]
Thanks to sharon, who better believe I reenacted writing this post topless. And filmed it.

The picture is by a Deviant Artist named BriChan. From what I know, she works for one of the Disney parks, and is herself Alice in that picture. Thus the group doing the pose :)

How many cosplay freaks are actually parents, leaving their kids at home. "You're going to the sitter's, mommy has to go play dressup! No - you can't play dressup! No you can't come to the dressup party!"
22. fonda - February 9, 2010 6:56 PM

23. che-che - February 9, 2010 7:20 PM
tinker bell!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!SPOOOGE!!
24. Amanda - February 9, 2010 7:40 PM
Telly has it right.
The art was done a while ago (few years) and the cosplayer of Alice in the photo is indeed Brianna Garcia, the artist who created the original. She only looks less-feminine really because her eyebrows are dark brown while she is wearing a blonde wig. I figured that by the fact that she looks absolutely fine in her other pictures, without the wig.
25. Chaabane - February 9, 2010 8:01 PM
lol! tinkerbell is cut out!
26. Milkman - February 9, 2010 8:08 PM
Is it wrong to want to motorboat Tinkerbell/Peter Pan? She's got a rack I'd lay some bbq sauce on.
27. Aktrez - February 9, 2010 8:31 PM
Thanks for the ..uh .. compliments! I'm the girl at the bottom who played Tink. This group was put together by Christy (Ariel) who designed the costumes with Alice (Brianna who is also the artist of the first peice).
We do this for fun as we are all 20 somethings who love Disney and wanted to do a new take on the princesses. We go as a group every year to Comic Con and have a TON of fun!
28. Chief Indian - February 9, 2010 8:35 PM

My friend Maria worked with here in fantasy land before she went to be an artist over at CA Adventure. In fact you can see my friend Maria in this youtube vid that Bri-Chan shot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtqwzJuHfYg

Why does it look like they took this picture in the middle of a hotel lobby?
but then again.. who cares..
hot chicks with nice racks.. enough said
40. stefan - February 10, 2010 3:39 AM
3 things:
1. Ariel is wearing a dress in the drawing while she's in mermaid form in the fotograph.
2. Snow White's dress has had some uhm.. modifications (kudos)
3. This picture is pretty old for geekologie standards
41. Andrew - February 10, 2010 4:07 AM
She can tinker my bell anyday...
42. Cyberwulf - February 10, 2010 4:47 AM
Old pic is old, but damn, I would slam my dink into tink's pink AND in the stink. though after I'd probably need to wash it off in the sink..
43. Britt Dietz - February 10, 2010 5:41 AM
I actually know the talented artist, who happens to be the one portraying Alice in the middle of the group. She came up with the idea and the artwork first and we did the group shot at Comic Con 2009 last year in July, all in this photo are friends of mine... they were actually posing for the shot I took: http://www.momentscapture.com/temp/ComicCon2009-Princesses-BriPhoto-5201.jpg
44. MrGutts - February 10, 2010 7:01 AM
You guys are all crazy, Snow white is the winner here.
45. titsonsnack - February 10, 2010 8:45 AM
Hi I'm some person, I am here to tell you that the artist is the chick in the Alice costume, and that I am acquainted with her on some level.
46. Jaded Icon - February 10, 2010 8:51 AM
Very well done! It is not often that people doing cosplay can pull it off so well.
47. Steal This Webcomic - February 10, 2010 9:23 AM
Next time I want to see REAL shells on Ariel. This just isn't authentic enough.
48. Laura - February 10, 2010 9:56 AM

49. atheistgirl - February 10, 2010 10:44 AM

50. wally - February 10, 2010 11:26 AM

Brianna's cute.
52. Jennifer - February 10, 2010 2:40 PM
Where the heck is Tinkerbell in the illustration??!! That sucks! But the others I LOVE! Very awesome.
53. John - February 10, 2010 3:54 PM
Pttf... I'd totally tinker with her bell.
54. Laura - February 10, 2010 4:35 PM
The girl that is dressed as Alice drew the picture of the princesses above. I know that because I follow her on deviantArt.com. ;)
55. Emily - February 10, 2010 4:57 PM
The drawing DID come first,a couple years ago if I recall? The artist is Bri-Chan from Deviantart (http://bri-chan.deviantart.com/) who specializes in Disney character artwork, I believe she worked at Disneyland as well?
Considering she's pretty well known on Deviantart it's not surprising that this group knew the poses.
And they're likely in a hotel lobby because it's generally where conventions are held, but I'd say that looks more like a convention center rather then hotel.
56. RighteousJoana - February 10, 2010 6:00 PM
I think alice is a dude
57. speedy glass repair - February 10, 2010 7:03 PM
If one more faggotron comes here and tells us that Alice chick is the artist who drew the picture and that they know this because she is on Deviantart, I'm going to kick them in the genitals.
58. lolwat - February 10, 2010 8:45 PM
Just wanted to let ya'll know that the Alice chick is the artist who drew the picture and she's on Deviantart
59. Arcee - February 11, 2010 12:53 AM
Woot! I am happy to say that I know both the artist of that picture, and most of the girls posing for that picture. Christy (Ariel), Becky (Tink), and Heather (Snow White) are all beautiful women, and also close friends with the artist Brianna Garcia. You can see more of her art at http://bri-chan.deviantart.com/
60. Hmm - February 11, 2010 9:47 AM
Uhmm... yeah Tinkerho, you aren't in the pic so get out =] You aren't even a disney princess.
61. GiNa - February 11, 2010 12:21 PM
@60 jelous? I think so.
It's very cute, but seriously I dont really get the whole cosplay thing. It seems like Holloween over n over again, I could'nt do all that no matter how much I liked a character.
62. Fuu - February 11, 2010 2:15 PM
The girl who drew that fan art is one of the cosplayers..... did you know?
63. lala - February 11, 2010 8:12 PM

64. lolwat - February 11, 2010 9:03 PM
tink has a great chest i'd like to get over that chest
65. Lizzy - February 12, 2010 12:31 AM
Actually, the Alice in the photo is the artist that drew that picture and yes, the drawing did come first.
66. Kannaya - February 12, 2010 12:59 PM
Cosplaying rocks and is form of art. Just like people making costumes for theater and performances. A lot of work goes into them and it is fun to play someone else for a day. Like acting but not as serious.
Tink is one of my good friends. Great jobs girls!
Also, you need a Mulan and Meg.
67. bribios - February 12, 2010 4:07 PM
I think I have a new fetish. Always wanted to bang most of the Disney princesses anyway, now cosplay can make that dream a reality! Too bad im cripplingly awkward around girls, what with the weird banging disney character fetishes and all.
68. bad boy - February 12, 2010 4:25 PM
Great artwork, costumes, and beautiful ladies.
The only comicon that I would attend is where these girls are making a cameo.
69. azzy - February 13, 2010 5:13 AM
why is tinkerbell big? they should have hired a midget or better, a foetus to cosplay tink :P
70. mbt shoes discount - April 13, 2010 8:44 PM
