Jan 30 2010Ports, We Need More Ports: 80 Hole USB Hub

80-usb-banger.jpg

Need more USB ports? Who doesn't, amirite? Well then look no further than Thanko's 80-port USB panel. At $200, there's really no reason not to buy a half dozen. Plus, adjustable voltage. WEEWOOWEEWOOWEEWOO!!

Unless you run a 'Rent-A-Port' by the minute business (genius) or make something in bulk that needs to be charged before selling, why the hell would you need one of these? Don't get me wrong, I'm still buying two, but that's only because I have 101 Dalmations 160 USB humping dogs and think it would be hysterical to see them all going at it simultaneously. Wouldn't that be funny? You'd watch it on Youtube, right? CHANNEL VIEWS NEED CHANNEL VIEWS.

Fuck you, Bob

Yeah well thats practical

btw lol @ #2

Translated Japanese (from above);

It is sure to get all to be surely surprised! Be elaborate, and it is the charger board which had a USB port of 80 ports built-in how. A mobile telephone, a digital camera, an audio player. It may be a good news for a person having a lot of such digital gadgets! Seeing from the side, anything seems to be somewhat the soldier of the armed forces in terminal 80 of the USB lining up to the port whether isn't dreamy at all to be able to charge a digital gadget to 80; feel, and there is force.

Wow, you must have taken Japanese to have translated it so well.

lol they are so impractical.

The Legion ad on the site is pissing me off...

@5 or have used the many available translation applications via the intetnet, idiot
@4 while reading that, I heard a little japanese mans voice in my head

woa type-0.... that should read 'internet, idiot' - not intetnet (totally different)

Hmm i mean 2/3 USB sharing the same line cuts up bandwidth as it is this would make usb 2.0 slower then 1.0 hell would drastically cut down 3.0 to the point where its not worth it. your better off having 2/3 ports here and there they often use a different connection to the motherboard

Wha? you cant read Japanese, get out of here

YOUSUNKMYBATTLESHIP.

Best quoted phrase ever, lol! My boyfriend would not disagree with this post, I however keep my USB ports to a minimum.

I am speaker of native English, also much fluent in Japanese. My hovercraft is full of eels.

Did you quote Kung Pow in this post? If so, kind sir, you are my hero forever and all time.

This would be PERFECT to go along with my snuggie and wine holder necklace.

how about 80 iphone's battery charging at the same time!

THERE IS A GOD!!!!! i thought this site was down for good! Glad to see the site's back up

Hooray! Geekologie is back!

I can rest in peace now!

I would TOTALLY watch a video of 160 USB dogs humping on youtube!!!!!!
just sayin

@15- I thought the same thing. That's two of us. Majority rules, GW quoted kung pow.

You know geekoligie being down was on some site?

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMZOMGOMZOMGOMGOMGOZMZOMZZOMZOMGOMGOMGOMZOMGOZMOMZGMZOMG FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ZOMGOMGOMOGMZOGMGOMZGOMZGOMZOGMZOMZGMZOMG *jizzed in my pants*

Why was geekologie offline all day? :(

I don't care about the USB thing, but the chick is damn cute.

Kung Pow FTW!

Almost started crying today because Geekologie wasn't up.

Surely guaranteed to surprise everyone! This is a whopping 80 Chajabodo'm also a USB port with built-in ports. Mobile phones, digital cameras and audio players. If you have a lot of digital devices such may be good news! Am I surprised to digital devices charged up to 80, do you really like a dream come true? USB terminal 80 is something that when viewed from the side of the port in line, you feel powerful and somewhat like a soldier in the army.

Yeah..I cruised over to the supe because this site was down...Sad times...SAD times...

Don't get me wrong... I love The Supe but, SW takes weekends off unlike GW.
GW always throws us a bone or two through the weekend so we can 'scrap' (or toss obscenities when he chooses to lift the filter!)

Don't get me wrong.
MBT walk women

Ok, you're back up dude....start posting!!!! Lotsa catching up to do

Geekologie being down kinda freaked me out, my 404 had a 404. What happened? I got paranoid and thought the Irish gov'ment had decided to censor it for some reason. (Where I am at the mo) I even did a search to see if anyone else made a comment on it being down elsewhere, and nothing. I thought it was just me for a while.

Relevant to the post: Doesn't a usb port power the gadget? So 80 gadgets being powered through a computer, either nothing will work or the computer melts down. For some reason I can't get just my phone to charge through my laptop lately, my IPod *never* would charge up through it, but 80 gadgets at once? I am thinking this usb gadget will burn down several houses.

YOU'RE BACK
also do want

This must be aimed for Americans, what American doesn't have at least 50+ USB adapters for various electronics.

Ok, now I'm beginning to get scared. No new posts today after the lack of Geekologie on the internet. I will wait patiently. The internet would be a horrible place with out Geekologie.

Best crappy translation yet:

Everyone certainly being surprised you are not wrong! This, it is the charger board which builds in as many as 80 port thing USB ports. Portable telephone, digital camera and audio player etc etc. Perhaps in the one which the large quantity you have such a digital equipment good news! The digital equipment can be charged up to 80 how, quite like dream, it is not, is? That the terminal of USB you see the fact that also 80 ports have lined up from side with something, it is what the soldier like feeling of the troop doing, there is a force
