It's not a ban on small breasts. The child porn laws include that it's bad if the person appears to be underage even if they are of age (which I disagree with). When trying to see if someone appears underage, they look at things like physical development.

A woman can have small breasts in porn in Australia without it being a problem. It's if the person looks underage that is the issue, no matter what her breast size is.

Again, I disagree with this subjective aspect to the laws. And I am passionate about the problems surrounding censorship. This is just not a ban on small breasts as it has been construed as on many sites, though.

I'm glad that this is getting attention, because people responsible for classification and censorship in Australia are being ridiculous and backlash could help bring social change. under the guise of protecting children with parents too lazy to parent, a secret list of sites which are 'refused classification' will be blocked by ISP filtering.

@64: The 'small breasts' thing is not in the mentioned specifically in the legislation at all and the document I posted is the most recent guidelines for the legislation (ie legislation has not recently changed).

This whole 'story' started with a press release from the Australian Sex Party last week. The claims by this minor political party have not been backed up with any credible evidence. It has since gone viral around various sites on the 'net' originally based on this. My point for posting the guidelines to the Classification legislation is to point out the fact that the claims in the article above are unfounded.

The bottom line is Australia has NOT banned smaller looking breasts from adult content in the way it is being implied here. It is a false and sensationalist accusation. also see link in comment #40.
